This (and the exterior lighting, which I happened to watch first) is exactly what I was looking for! I am actually looping them, enjoying a cup of coffee😀, then I'm off to my local dealer to negotiate a trade-in for my Murano. Your videos have quite literally sold me on the Ariya! Nice interiour lighting truly. Do you know about the placement of the Bose speakers (Evolve system should have 10 speakers)? Is there a speaker in the roof beside the rear view mirror? Or at the floor where the andon light is?
I think standard is two speakers down in the doors and two on the dash. Plus two in lower back doors. Bose system has desiccated tweeters in the upper front doors and the subwoofer. I am not sure if there is a center speaker tucked away somewhere, I’ll check later. But it might be also labeled “10 speaker system” since the sub is a double 4” or so…
Great video. I am a happy owner of af Ariya Evolve spec for a week now, however i am having an issue with the interior lights in all buttons. Suddenly these will become very dim and almost impossible to see during daytime. Any ideas for what I can check?
Sounds like the car is switching into night mode/lights come on. Can happen if the weather is bad and there is not too much light. If it happens in broad daylight, it could be that the light sensor is malfunctioning. It's probably best to check with your dealer to figure this out. In any case, you can overwrite the night mode by pressing the "brighter" button on the left side of the speedo display. After the brightest night setting, there is one more stage that goes along with a beep. The speedo display (the one behind the steering wheel) and all buttons should switch to day mode then. Hope that helps!
Hey, i was wondering if there is a lightstrip surrounding the gearshifter, and if can you turn it on/ of at will or how dos it work and is it possible to dim the Andon lights in the car. We are also eagerly awaiting our Evolve Eforce, cant wait to drive Ariya again its so good :) ;) thx alot.
Yes, there is a light strip on the shifter. I think the brightness on that ties into the general brightness control of the cockpit. The Andon lights and the LED strip surrounding the cockpit you can dim or turn off individually.
Loving all your Ariya Videos, I'm very jealous and a little annoyed at Nissan, ordered my 87kWh Evolve with Sportpack last December 9th but it's still not arrived at my dealer.
If yours is pearl blue they may have sent mine to you by accident !
Mine is ceramic grey (stealth grey), so it wasn't me :D Where do you live, that you could order so early? Over here Ariya launched in the beginning of April. Since we were literally the first to order, ours came pretty quickly. But I think the majority of customers will have to wait. Delivery times are nearing a year by now I think. Popular car, difficult times...but worth the wait for sure!
@@nissanelectrified9583 In UK dealers started taking orders on 9th December 2021, I had my order placed by 10:30 am on 9th. I didn't order the e4orce as I knew deliveries would take longer, so I ordered the Evolve FWD 87kWh with sportpack which was scheduled for summer 2022, but here I am with no Ariya! 😪
I've had to take my Leaf 40kWh on a 900 mile (1448 km) trip I had planned for the Ariya.
After many delays my dealer assured me my Ariya would arrive last week, but it hasn't 😪
I can't understand why Nissan are delivering Ariyas elsewhere, but not to me 😭
I feel your pain. I can only assume that all that Brexit fuckery plays a part in all that. Dealing with UK just is a major pain right now, so it's no wonder they focus on the continental market first. But I sincerely hope that your Ariya will arive SOON!!

EXACTLY how do I turn on the Andon and strip lights. an't figure it out! Where is the switch for it? Appreciate any help.
Hi mate, you will find it in the center cluster (the display behind the steering wheel, where the speedo is etc.) under settings, then (I think) vehicle settings and then ambient lighting or something along those lines. The strip lighting is very soft, in daylight you probably won't see it even if its on. The andon lighting should be clearly visible though.
I have a base model Aryia! The thin light that runs around the top of the door does not light up. Is there a setting to turn on that particular light or is something wrong? The other ambient lights work.

There might be a possibility that the base model Ariya does not have that strip, but I do assume it does and it's just turned down. If I remember correctly, it was turned off on our Ariyas as well when they were new from the factory. To turn it on, you use the controls on the steering wheel to get to settings, then vehicle settings (or something along those lines) and then lighting. There you can set the brightness of said strip and the andon lighting.
