Ecoboost! Woot Woot! Make more videos! The internet is missing you! (at least I am). You make zero waste look so doable and achievable. I am very much a micro mini baby when it comes to zero waste and I find your videos on the topic encouraging and positive! Thanks for reading, Carrie Spencer
Another body butter recipe: equal parts coco butter, sheabutter, coconut oil and another carrier oil (I like almond) - melt in double boiler. Add EO if you want (but this smells chocolate-y so I don’t). Cool and then whip. I give it as gifts in small mason jars. It’s amazing.
I dont care about my looks so its hard for me to get into beauty things (which I dont feel bad about) but I do use the bentonite mask sometimes with apple cider vinegar mostly because I've gotten addicted to that tightening feeling it gives 😂😂 and I also make my lotion with whipped shea butter ☺️
Just a little tip regarding the bentonite face mask: it is NOT necessary (and not recommended!) to leave it on until fully dry. The clay works/ has done it's work even if your face is still a wet, dark, green color! ;) Once dried, the mask becomes hard and somewhat painful and with each movement of the face, it agravates the skin and can create micro cuts/ tears which, is not ideal! There: time (and face!) saved! :) Lovely video, you're just so natural and unpretentious, I love your vibe! :) Vx
I've heard that you can also use bentonite masks to "detox" your underarms when switching from non-natural to natural deodorant, although I didn't try it myself.
I was kinda shook that you used castor oil in your face oil blend. Castor oil is so thick and can be drying to the skin. I personally love using grapeseed, rosehip and avocado oil for my face :) For me castor oil is only a part of my diy oil cleanser
Hi Carina, castor oil is included in this recipe as it is shown to have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and moisturising properties that are great for the skin.
does anyone know of a shampoo and conditioner DIY that does not require a fridge to keep. I travel all the time for work and I am finding it hard to get things that work with constant travel and are not super expensive. I know etsy has some but I often I am in Europe and shipping is crazy expensive.
Take a look in the hair or travel section of our site- we stock Beauty Kubes shampoo cubes that are perfect for travel. They leave your hair super soft so often no conditioner is needed - acalaonline.com/search?type=product&q=beauty+kubes
Hi Rae, if you take a look at the e-book it defines skin types and which oils/ingredients and recipes to use for different types. If you have any questions though please do drop us an email at hello@acalaonline.com and we'd be happy to help.
I use a similar face oil after I have cleansed before bed, but I'd like my daily moisturiser to have some sort of SPF as I have very fair skin. Any recipes anyone?

Lavender is a great antiseptic so very good for breakouts. I spot treat with it.

I only just realized how you remind me of Maria from the Sound of Music! You look similar, you have the same voice and kind personality.

In fact you should mist water on it and not letting dry!
Thank you!🙏💜🙏

same!
Castor oil also causes hair growth. I use it on my eyelashes!

Can you tell, how you disinfected the plastic lock (from the bottle for the face oil) with a glass pipette?
You could use steam, like people do with baby bottles
does someone know a brand or store selling zero waste school supplies?

I love how you boiled your bottle first. A lot of diy videos I see they don’t and that bothers me.
someone please explain scientifically how a stainless steel spoon ( which is non-reactive) can deactivate mineral earth?..
It doesn't in fact. As long as it's steel it's ok, so wrong info here
For future recipes, 20 drops are 1 ml
I WISH YOU DID VLOGTOBER
