Another beautifully shot video Kris. 👌😎 And a voice to soothe the soul. 😉 Been up there in winter but will defo go that way in summer for a cheeky scramble. 👍
James i took the same route on the 21st of April and will agree that the views are stunning. I went up a year earlier in damp misty weather and those rocks were a different experience for sure.😮
@@ScottishMountainGoat 🫣my apologies 'Kris' I had just watched a video with James from Scottish Munro Journey and swapped two fantastic vloggers names up.
Great video, bud!! I will be in Scotland in two weeks and may try to hike this (and the Hidden Valley hike). One question. On the hike back down, I see that you did not go down the same way you came up, as per the 0:40 mark. I don't see this hike on my Alltrails app. Although you ended up leaving from the west face of the mountain, you had intended to leave from the east. Is the east departure route easy to follow? I may just leave the same way you did. Thank you in advance. Cheers.
Hi Christian, sounds like an exciting trip! There's a link to the route on OSMaps in the video description. You can download the GPX file of the route there as well and import into AllTrails if you need it. You can head either east or west down the mountain, though heading west is the more direct route back to the car if you park at the start location in the video description. There isn't a well defined path in either direction, but the western route I think is the easier one to follow. Hope that helps!
Thanks. I really enjoyed your video. Good video quality as well.
Brilliant views lovely day for it spot on 😊

Looks amazing 👍🙂
Well done. How long it took you to climb to the summit?
Silly question but are there easier/other routes up this mountain.Don’t fancy asking the missus to tackle this route. Many thanks….
Did you come back down the same way ? I'm definitely going to climb this after watching this video . Stunning
No, headed back down the direct route to the car, which was a much boggier experience 😆
@ScottishMountainGoat ahh I see well I'm up for doing what you did to capture that view . Thankyou for your efforts my friend 🤙
