The Goku Black arc was definitely one of the best arcs…it would’ve been better had they animated some things better. Nonetheless, I miss DBS. It was so awesome bc the manga was far behind so every new episode was full of mystery

This lowkey was the darkest arc in dbs, which was great. Tho alot of stuff didnt make sense and wasn't covered, it still brought back the edge dbz had. But manga did make up for it😂. Recommend reading

The only thing I didn’t like about that arc of Super was how they made Zamasu so ridiculously, mind-bogglingly powerful that there was no reasonable way to beat him and end the story. Sure he’s one of the only Dragonball antagonists to not be defeated, but the story suffered for it.
It made sense. This man planned out everything. It was the fact he made himself so strong and had all this prep that he ended up winning is a good part of what I like about this arc.

The scene where Vegeta jumps out and then Goku Black transforms is a call back to Yu-Yu Hakusho, when Yusuke pummeled Toguro, saw the look in his eyes, and jumped back. Then Toguro transformed to 100%
This is why I say if that plot armor didn’t exist they would literally be stronger than jiren and they probably still are just imagine if goku black had his own version of ultra instinct
There's one thing I never understood though. Every detail is in place so the whole story is solid and believable. However, the one thing that stands out to me is, how come none of the Gods did anything about Goku Black? Remember, Goku Black's spirit is actually Zamasu, and because of that he has God ki which is proven by the fact that Super Saiyan Blue is Super Saiyan Rose for him, because of his God ki. So, the angels do not interfere with the affairs of mortals, unless there's some sort of a higher power involved and so they can get permission from the Grand Priest to intervene. Since Goku Black has God ki, the angels must've sensed that something was wrong, and so they could've warned the Gods of Destruction and the Kais of the imminent threat. If not immediately, after the death of the first Kai, they must surely have done it. After all, Kais also have God ki because they're the descendants of the Grand Priest. The Grand Priest must've been alerted if any of his descendants were killed, and even if the Grand Priest decided not to intervene after the death of one Kai, he surely would've at least considered to do so after the third Kai was killed or the fourth or the fifth. After all, the very person killing the Kais was also a Kai. So why did that never happen? Why did the Grand Priest and the angels all just watched as Goku Black travelled from universe to universe, killing one Kai after another, resulting in the death of one God of Destruction after another, resulting in one angel being put out of cimmission after another, eventually completely shutting down divine oversight across the multiverse? WHY DID THEY ALLOW IT???
Goku Black was one of the rarest villains that the heroes can't beat him so they literally used God mode (cheat code) to just stop him. They got no answers. He's immortal 🤨 Now imagine if Frieza back then got his wish in Namek. 😅
