Hi Zahira, I just discovered your channel and it's good timing because I'm going to be building a new house. I have a question about the master bath flooring. In the Master BdRm there will be natural oak HW flooring(with darker grey walls, white ceiling), would it be okay to match the colour/look of the HW to a tile for the bathroom floor. The bath walls will be light grey, counter top / shower tiles will be white with grey swirl and the vanity will be a darker grey/ebony wood, white stand alone bathtub. Love your channel (watched most of your vids). Thanks.
I just renovated my bathroom, and it looks great but it's missing contrast. I want to hand paint muted cactus silhouette's on the wall in different layers and colors. I think it would look really cool. I live here in Arizona, so cactus makes sense.
Do bathrooms need to be cohesive with the rest of the house? Most spaces in our house is bright and airy however my partner and I wish to have a spa warm and relaxing vibe in our bathroom to rewind a long day after work. How would you recommend?
Hi!! That's an excellent question. Your bathroom doesn't have to be identical to the other areas of your home, but it does have to be cohesive. It would be best if you tried to connect your bathroom somehow with the other areas, either by incorporating a similar accent color or by using some texture that connects with the other textures used in adjacent rooms. Although they are different, they must have a common thread that allows all areas of your house to form a unit and create flow. Have a wonderful week! Hugs
