ME TOO, it was apparently meant to be cannon as well.... idk why they decided against it. Maybe it was a fear of hate from fans like sasunaru (Naruto x sasuke)?..

@TheGamingGoddess101 I am probably wrong but I am pretty sure sonadow was supposed to be the cannon ship like in the anime naruto sasunaru was supposed to be cannon too but the producer was scared to get hate so they decided not to. Or it was bc of the producer's wife (for Naruto) who didn't want the ship and instead wanted a different ship. If you read all of this, thank you. 😊
