The Black Panther of Tadoba

The most rare specimen of a melanistic leopard is sighted in Tadoba since last October. Initially it was a shy one but now bold enough to walk comfortably in front of the vehicles.
This Video was shot by a guest Mr. Anand Ashar who stayed with us at the Bamboo Forest Safari Lodge.

That is not a melanistic leopard it is a pseudomelanistic leopard cuz it is not completely black and they are also rarer than the fully melanistic ones
