Les Indemodables Patchouli Noisette is as good as it gets when it comes to a clean, pure patch in my eyes. Maybe not as 'complete' of a composition as some of your suggestions but man, I love that cypriolic dry aura about it. Monsieur I own, adore but dont reach for alot. I find it a skeletal, barebones patchouli with tangy metallic facets from the rum and tangerine.
Can’t recall if in the past you’ve sampled Jovoy’s Psychédélique? As you probably know, it’s often called the king of damp, earthy patch’s (albeit one that descends-or ascends, depending on one’s preferences-to a much more benign vanilla-cocoa drydown). I’m on the fence with it. I don’t find it to be as wonderful a wear as many people do. 🤷🏻♂️Now, as for your incense love…Bring. It. On. ✊🏻
@@EyeByBrian it's one I've heard so much about but never tried! I'll have to remember to ask for it at Scent Bar next time I'm there. I have a feeling already owning coromandel and Borneo I may not find it necessary to have, but still very interested to try it out.
Nice selection. I really love Borneo, so I need to see if I can find another one that equals my love of Serge. Funnily, I haven't tried Profumum Roma's yet.
Amazing patchouli hole you fell in! I’ve got the Borneo and Monsieur. Thx for the coromandel parfum tip! Have you tried Nicolais Patchouli intense? One of my top 10 faves. The have at New London Pharmacy on 8th Ave to sample. Can’t wait for your incense hole round up!!!
@@orosz4001 I do have a sample of the Nicolai, it's a weird one! Haha I didn't really love it or hate it, but I remember the first time I tried it thinking "what the heck am I smelling?" For some reason everything I tried in the Nicolai discovery set really didn't do it for me, but the Patch was probably my favorite of the lot.
Nice selection. I really need to try Monsieur. Everything you said that put you off of it is right up my alley lol. Also want to smell the Ann. I wore Antaeus back in the late 80s and despite what many people say, I don’t think the current version is all that good. Now I’m thinking maybe the Ann would scratch the itch. Here’s to cooler temperatures starting tomorrow. This autumn has been way too warm!!
@@DaveNYC I think Atelier might have the Ann perfume. I know I've been waiting for some real cold to bring out the heavy stuff but it never comes! Monsieur is weird, I found the dry down today very soft and subtle but I remember thinking it was such a strong fragrance the first time I tried it. Maybe it was actually toned down or I'm just used to the smell now or going nose blind, but I found it very easy to wear today.
@@pradeep_sekar there's gotta he some store in Paris that stocks it but I don't know where! At least in U.S. the stockists seem to be smaller boutiques that carry Ann's clothes but not so much perfume shops.

@@ryanx3584 I tried it from a small sample and wasn't wow'd by it but I would like to give it a more thorough testing.

@ thank you! I will check Atelier. And then taunt Pradeep if I get it 😛
Can You Please Give Me The Name Of The Anteus Smell Alike? Thank You..🙏🏽
@ it's actually called "A Parfum" by Ann Demeulemeester. That's probably why you didn't catch the name! 😂
@ Thank You So Much For Getting Back To Me.. I Appreciate It.🙏🏽 Great Content..
Great selections! I struggle with the note a bit but coming around to more. Curious about Ann but nowhere to test here
