In all the comments, I see discussion of which version is better but I don't see any discussion of how awesome this video is. It's really simple but works perfectly.
I hope that this song will finally bring people to discover and cherish the greatness of The New Year and, most notably, Bedhead. The most soulful and divine indie rock band ever.

I think that you are more likely to prefer the version of a song that you hear first. That is the only reason I can think of that anyone could possibly prefer the BOH cover. I don't just hear this version record, I feel it from the inside out. When I listen to BOH I feel nothing except a desire to hit the next track button on iTunes. Is there anyone who can honestly say they prefer the BOH version having heard the original first? I would doubt it.
I feel like you have to be a certain type of person to fully understand music like this. So raw and genuine. The sort of person who looks for emotional stimulation through their art as opposed to a catchy hook and pitch perfect vocals. And my god if you have the mind to be able to feel and enjoy stuff like this it is truely so powerful and addictive.
Looks like the end of the former airport here in Austin, TX....Mueller, which was torn down a few years ago when the new airpot opened. The control tower is identical. If that's the case, the area was "pre-disastered."

I have listen to this song a thousand times, but the boh cover. I was today years old when I found this one and realized this is the original.
