That’s the way to do it. If you have a lot of time you can also drop tons of wood chips and mix with coffee grounds. In a few years you’ll have a thick layer of top soil.

So impressed with your cucumber. My cucumbers are being eaten by something. Maybe I should try the Japanese cucumber variety.
Thanks for the comment. We have been getting 8-12 cucumbers a day consistently. I would recommend trying the Asian variety next year.

How far can you dig down before you hit limestone/rock?
It varies in my yard. It’s somewhere between 6”-24”. Thank you for the comment.
