My most favorite movie of all time! I went to the show with my mother when I was in my teens, and both mamma and I wept like babies in many of the scenes, and at the end. My mother and I saw it in Italian. She was from Calabria, and although I was born in S.F., CA, Italian was my first language. Ora mamma non ce piu, ma io ho una bella copia (DVD) di questa bellissima film! Coincidentally, my birthday is Sept. 20; same as Sophia Loren.
