I just bought the M5802G (which is the same machine but with the front handle and gray color) and I couldn't be more happy about it! Its cheap, is strong, build quality is great and the included disc is excellent for all I cut :D Now Im gonna put hands at work to make a box for it since the box it comes in is huge :p Good video!
That seems to be a good saw; and reading the other comments it seems well priced too. Makita have always made good tools but they now have to compete in a different price bracket to reclaim some of the market share. It’s still a good product; but they have no doubt had to make some compromises to meet the price. It’s good that the competition is kept high in this price bracket; and we get the choice of higher price and quality, or less cost but still good performance. this is low end series, check the type. i dont know on your country but so many cheap circular saw on my country, makita bring this series. the price only $68. that cheap for makita brand
if you know maktec brand, that low end brand from makita but now makita bring own brand, with makita not maktec again. i think almost all brand have low end type
Why delete you comment, for makita brand $68 that cheap. Usually makita cs price up $150. Makita call this low end series, this series battle with bosch gks 170 with price $75-$80. Almost all brand have high end and low end😁
It does the job, for some diy project. If you a have a Large forniture shop for mass production then buy high end makita for sure wiLL tear ur pocket down
@@randygimotea5991 you mean those that are made directly in Japan, and even that can be damaged too if you use too much here what is meant is that the wages for labor are cheaper, it doesn't mean that the durability is bad, all the same if you force it too much, brands from any country will break quickly

Still good until now but my friend buy this circular saw plus my track for this product, that why you not see on video. All still good and powerfull

Makita mactec is good quality, I have the planer and router they are excellent and good value,I thing the power saw is good quality.
