I bought the Logitech Z2300's about 10 years ago and have been using them in my living room ever since. They cost me around $150. I couldn't foresee needing anything better than that in a non-surround sound setup. They still sound fantastic.
Mathieu Bouvier they have the play 3 for 199 which is a pretty good deal everything else is overpriced it's ridiculous the only reason the play 3 exists is to get u into sonos then upgrade to the other overpriced speakers
Video is a little misleading as it says since the SONOS does not support HDMI ARC you cannot use one remote to control your system. True that HDMI ARC is not supported but you certainly can control the volume with whatever remote you use to control your system. During setup you just aim your remote at SONOS when it asks how you control your volume and hit the volume button and SONOS learns that command. So if you use one remote (like a Harmony) or 5 remotes (like a Neanderthal) you can control the SONOS without adding another remote to the mix.
i am looking for good wireless speakers fro my room but i don't want a portable speaker i want something like a play 1 but not 200 then 700 for the sub does anyone have any recommendations? thanks

DO NOT GET SONOS! It is such a waste of money... You cant choose a song or genre to listen too... its only radio and ALWAYS have to keep re-setting it up. An iPod, spotify and a soundsystem are MUCH BETTER! HEAPS CHEAPER! And you can CHOOSE the music you want.... DONT DO IT!!!!

You do get to choose what you want, you just have to not be an idiot and understand that having a sonos speaker requires having other sites linked. Music sites such as Soundcloud, Spotify, or Google Play Music in order to play your music. I have two sonos play:1 and they are honestly great. Seems like you just didn't understand the product.

thank god for Yamahaa musicast and Synology DS Audio, both outstanding alternatives at a REASONABLE cost
