It's 2022, I've only attended (watched) 2 KCONTACTs so far, and I'm going to attend KCON LA for a first time. So far I have this impression: if you see kcon as this chance to interact with your favorite artist you are going to be disappointed most likely. But if you are there for the show and the convention, and you think that that is already worth your money, and interacting and seeing some artists is just cherry on the top (that you might or might not get) then you'll probably have fun. Things have changed since 2020, it seems that they have a bit better system now that's a bit less of a lottery, but still if you want to actually meet or have any sort of meaningful interaction with your favorite artist, it will probably not happen at kcon.
welcome back!!! kcon truly is a gamble and so stressful, i could write a novel with my issues between kcon ny 2018 and 2019 (mainly the raising of prices, which i get they moved to msg, but took away benefits, which makes no sense...you'd think they would have added a small benefit). anyways, a great video and can't wait until your next video!! 😭💕 edit: my advice everyone save for kcon japan or thailand. the line up and benefits are better (kcon ny especially always gets the short end of the stick and last year kcon thailand you got to choose your fan engagement/hi touch)

A1: I believe you get 1 Hi-Touch in which I think you get to select the artist you want for that - but it’s only one group. Also it looks like you’re able to go to the red carpet event which I believe all groups attend. A2: You get 1 audience for one group. From what I heard, being in the audience is when you and other fans there have a Q&A with the artist and you also play games together (this is just what I heard). I believe you are also able to select the artist as well! A3: This one is pretty confusing. I’m assuming “all day audience” either means you get to be in all audiences of all groups OR you choose to be in the audience of one group the whole convention (this one I’m really not sure, I apologize…) I just want to remind you that this information might be inaccurate since I’ve never bought tickets for the convention. I’ve only really have bought tickets for the concert so the convention packs are still a little confusing 😅😅 I hope this does help in some way though!! (The reason why I don’t know much is also because it’s sad to say but the website for Kcon doesn’t really make anything clear and tries to trick people into buying tickets that they realize too late that those tickets are not what they wanted - just like what the person in this video said!!) Currently watching this because presale concert ticket goes up today, and idk what or how to get presale codes 😂 I was looking at the website and I was so confused and this helped so much. I’m mainly going for Ateez, The Boyz, and To1 and knowing that the high touches are random makes me go 💔 because what if I get a rookie group for example and no one would want to trade it with.

Trying to decide whether KCON LA 2022 is worth it too. My two favorite groups that are going Loona and Itzy I’ve already seen in concert (went to both Loona shows in LA and did the meet and greet) or are going to see (Itzy in October). Website said all the M&G panels I wanted to see are full so the only thing left to go to is the concerts which the artists only sing a couple songs each. I’ve only seen KCONTACT online so I am curious about the in person KCON but not sure if it’s worth the money and hotel. This year so far I’ve already seen Twice, Dreamcatcher, (G)I-DLE, Brave Girls, Loona and then I’ll be seeing Sunmi, Itzy, AleXa, Blackpink and a couple other non K-pop concerts as well.

Also, there is no info on whether these sales are for one night or both😭P3 is $90, so I'm guessing it's for one night since you said it was $80 in the past? (Also yes I am getting the lowest tier concert ticket and not meeting the idols, I am a college student)
@@rainypath96 I actually decided that I'm no longer going to kcon and will invest in seeing Stray Kids instead! The $160 tickets are P1 and the $90 tickets are P3. P2 tickets cost $130. I also found out that you need to buy separate tickets per night and there will be no convention, just an unrelated anime convention at the same time at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center across the street from the Rosemont Theater.

I am planning on going to Kcon La 2022 for the first time, I want P1 for both concert days. Please correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that I would have to pay $45 for GA Kcon + $400 for the P1 (concert 2day)? I also noticed that there is a presale for concert tickets, is it recommended to get presale? I am aware that it is by chance, but from experience for the PTD BTS concert, there was no way to get tickets if you didn’t buy the membership for the presale. I am not sure if this is how it would similarly work for concerts here, but please let me know if it is recommended to get please! :)

@@zm1197 they did! if you have their insta it shows who’s preforming on day 1 & 2 :) BUT, i was able to find out that if you buy just a regular ticket - the cheapest option without any like extra benefits or anything- no high touch or anything, you get to see all the artists preform for that day you buy or if you bought the double day ticket then you can see all of them :) day 1 this year has the groups of : ateez, cravity, enhypen, INI , itzy, kep1er and lightsum :) day 2 is : JO1, loona, nct dream , nmixx, stayc, the boyz, TO1, and wjsn :) - this would also be my first time going and it seems super stressful so i’m just trying to play it safe & continue to learn more about it 😭😭

No it doesn't. You bought the convention ticket, but if you want a hi-touch you pay an extra $100. AND you have to pay SEPARATELY for the concert ticket.

I think the convention tickets are separate from the concert tickets. You have to wait a few days to buy the concert tickets (for some reason lol)
