technically yes, but you can do so much with a controller/decks, at the end of the day your going to use them for mixing songs, but there are so many diffrent levels of mixing, just look at someone like james hype who is one of the best djs in the world, his style of mixing/djing is nuts and basically makes his own songs mixing tracks together.
Sure you can, I would put as a good example SNTS or SPFDJ, both use to play between 3 to 5 tracks at the same time doing incredible and unique sets. SPFDJ has a quick tutorial on UA-cam about this btw 🤙
I purchased one of these, coming from a Pioneer SR , must say it good, very good and Cheap too, but not in quantity, preformed perfectly at my 5 hour disco last night.. Only one gripe, not enough effects and not programmable, even though my cheaper Platinum has 6 effects and further effects available on Serato pro…
@@omegamusic5584 do you find if you give the FX to much gain , the music cuts out..?? Had this a couple of times, but not with the Platinum? Is there any way to override the factory FX and use the FX from Serato Pro.. list…?
@@paulkandi you never want to red line and fx can give you that, those lights by the 2 volume fader you never want to reach the top or it can break equipment and cut off your music and Is also a blood bath for ears, i have the same controller but even for others you don't want to red line

Any idea how I can map or activate this functionality please? Tia🙏😊 We have the same setup, Numark hooked-up to an iPad PRO and using DJAY Pro AI.

I am using a simple USB Type-C to type-A adapter to connet to the iPad. I did not tried this controller on android but there is an Android version of the Djay app. If you considering to use your phone, the power output might not be enough to power the controller.

Hi, this controller is not natively supported on Android. However the Djay website says that you could map the midi signals from the controller. www.algoriddim.com/hardware#android . This problem is caused by the low power output of an mobile device. To solve this problem you can use an USB hub with external power input. Happy DJing

@@pascr0 I use the Algoridim DJAY PRO AI. The cable I use ia a generic USB-B to USB-A cable and I use a USB-A to USB-C adaptor to connect the controller to my Ipad, so nothing special. Happy Djing 👍
Hijo de dios, las mezclas nunca se hacen con el crossfader. Este elemento esta pensado para otros menesteres, como por ejemplo los cortes de frecuencia. Acostúmbrate a usar los Fader que tiene cada canal.

I agree with you. THe limited FX selection on this controller really hold its potential back.

You need the buttons on the bottom in the middle with cue to be set >0 and the buttons on the very top written with level to be at least in the middle

Hey bro, how did you manage to map the fx paddle to the djay pro ai. I bought a new one but my fx paddles are just unmapped at the moment
It has automatically mapped every pad on the controller by itself. But I think you can manually map MIDI signals from the application settings.

I think you just click or touch the timer itself and it toggles. Try that.

How do you power the controller? Personally impossible to power the controller from the tablet...
