dallas will ALWAYS be the most beautiful. oh, i swear his voice can heal the broken. never will a voice ever appeal to me like his has and does. it's breathtaking. 💘
The first time I heard of this song, well actually when I heard City and Colour for the first time I was watching Guitar Center early one morning mid 2013. What a riveting melody! Great talent and great voice!
You can!!!..... Cause he found HIS voice, and he sings that way. Its pretty simple sounding i know. But for real thats all there is to it, IMO of course. Get after it and melt faces
Finally an true singer and performer.. dare I say the Johnny Cash of our time in this style music...well you know what I mean.. dark, great lyrics and a guitar to make awesome music and a voice that harmonizes it all together...Awesome Mr. Green
Absolutely easy to listen to melodies. The guitar is riveting and spot on full off energy. It's like a melodic groove for the ears and a rhythm rock for the body. Yummy love it. Thank you
For everyone that's wondering.. This song is about his wife Leah Miller. Apparently she gets terrible nightmares (words from Dallas). That's just my educated guess haha
Great comments, and wow........what great writing. Fragile Bird can be so many people. Been a fan for song long. UA-cam is a cool way to express how you feel. For the people who dislike this or other great songs,...............don't bring your lonely, bipolar, abusive, nonsense here pls.
@TropicFusions I've been playing guitar for 7 years now. It's honestly the best choice I've ever made. I made so many friends, and matured so much through music.
Dallas is one of the vocalist much like Jeff Buckley, and Chris Cornell in particular that works with full on electric or just acoustic. They just know how to pierce the soul on either and still just as satisfying.
@mafio24 urgency was and still is my favorite song by him. when he knocks on the guitar in the little breaks gives me the chills :) glad to see him making it big. Little Hell is much different from his old stuff, but i think its still good. i didnt know of the "When She" riff though
I played and aang this to my sister in the hospital and she passed away this song helped in a lot of ways ...dalas green is so awesome

Absolutely easy to listen to melodies.
The guitar is riveting and spot on full off energy. It's like a melodic groove for the ears and a rhythm rock for the body. Yummy love it. Thank you
@PeteWojMusic We used KSM42s for the vocal and body of Dallas' guitar, and a KSM137 for the neck of the guitar.
This song has a killer chorus, when it hits it's so freeing

For everyone that's wondering.. This song is about his wife Leah Miller. Apparently she gets terrible nightmares (words from Dallas). That's just my educated guess haha

Beautiful
Me encanto el tono de voz, y lo sencillo pero impactante de la composición de los acordes que creo.
Absolutely in love
Yeah you are right with the 00-17, which I am sure you know have been replaced with the Martin 00-15/000-15 models, I have the 00-15! Love it so much.
perfection at it's finest form.
Thank you Dallas Green for your beauty and talent *FTFY

Love...City and Coluor
His voice..
Amazing
@JonathanGleadell I wish it could be.. great quality
For everyone that's asking. Dallas uses a 1942 vintage Martin 00-17
So excited to see him support Biffy Clyro next year; 2013 should be a good year!
Still a awesome song in 2020
This guy kicks ass!
@Canadianboy1487 I think it's an old Martin 000-15
Damn hes got quite the voice. Wish I could keep it up! Amazing at writing music he is!!
What a song.
amazing
@TSAInMeKell Dallas said in an interview, that his is a 1944 Martin. My guess would be 00-17.
Dallas is one of the vocalist much like Jeff Buckley, and Chris Cornell in particular that works with full on electric or just acoustic. They just know how to pierce the soul on either and still just as satisfying.
He holds his strumming hand so strangely, but Dallas is just amazing.
I love the acoustic version of this song so much more than what was released on the new album.
Same. All of his work I love solo acoustic better.
@mafio24 urgency was and still is my favorite song by him. when he knocks on the guitar in the little breaks gives me the chills :) glad to see him making it big. Little Hell is much different from his old stuff, but i think its still good. i didnt know of the "When She" riff though
When nothing else can make you happy.. Just listen to Dallas.
@Mud46 its a Martin
speachless ...
what i picked up it was C F and Am
just some improvements on them ;)
One only word ''Perfection''
I NEED an mp3 of this...
