- It's our first official full day at Aulani in Oahu, Hawaii, and we are not wasting any time. Coming from California, we are quite jet jagged which means the whole fam woke up at the crack of dawn to book some adventures for the trip. Unfortunately we didn't get the best news all around, a few of the things we really wanted to do are closed for the majority of our trip... but after a nerve wracking phone call, we did receive some better news at least for tomorrow! After the kids got to try out the Mickey shaved ice and the pools, we made our way over to the Polynesian Culture Center for a Luau. After experiencing different cultures around the world (Fiji, Somoa, Hawaii) we also got to watch one of my new favorite shows of all time, Hā the Breath of Life. It was AMAZING!

Ive noticed that there is less and less of Big Caden in the vlogs. Im glad you are respecting his privacy and not wanting to be featured in the vlogs. Its a breath of fresh air compared to most who just stuff a camera in the kids faces.

In 2004 when I was 12 I went to Hawaii and went to the Polynesian centre and recently was just thinking about it and then your video popped up and it brought back so many amazing memories for me .
I loved the Polynesian Cultural Center so much when I went a few years ago, would definitely go back!!!

It always happens that way. Parents are stricter with their older kids then loosen up when it comes to the younger ones.
But this is also vacation too so that might be the reason. I've never seen Addie in crop tops at home.

Lilo was 5 years old in the original story. In the monarch at the end of the movie, Lilo has 7 candles on her birthday cake, meaning she was 6 for the majority of the movie.
The Polynesian Culture Center is run by the Morman Church and is so interesting. Those islands still exist and the young people come to the culture center to work and make money for their education. I was there over 45 years ago and it was there then and it is the one thing that really sticks out in my mind about that trip. And the Luaus are so much fun but the food needs an acquired taste. A stop at a fast food on the way back is kinda necessary. What a fun trip. I hope you guys had a fantastic time!!!!

Jess, I now have a deeper understanding of how you felt when your Grammy and Gigi passed away. My grandmother passed over the weekend and it was all very quick and unexpected. She had Alzheimer’s but seemed to be doing fine. But then she became lethargic on Friday and went down hill very quickly from there. I’m still in shock and never got to say goodbye to her because of how fast it happened. I just wanted to say I’m sorry you had to go through that twice. All the best💕

The rainbow reef looks sooo coool!!! My daughters love snorkeling but Sage watched a shark program on TV recently and is now scared of sharks 🤦♀️ Hopefully it’s just a temporary fear, but that rainbow reef would be perfect!

I loved Germaine’s Luau not so much the Polynesian Cultural Center. Partly because no alcohol and it was pouring rain when we went there. I like it when you eat outside at a long table with others while you watch the show. And I like having the location at the beach. At PCC we ate in a cafeteria type building and then went to watch the show. No beach 😞. Your experience at PCC looks better than my experience. Really good for kids. Hawaii is my happy place so I’m really enjoying watching you videos!
