@@bobiboulon Haha, we can always imagine. 😉 I think they were mostly in a state, of a mix between scared/worry, being without their mommy's guidance, yet incredibly intrigued about being on unfamiliar territory. I quite like the last one, having a sort of slightly more lax, carefree personality, taking the time to have a nice, curious look around, before finding its siblings.
Those are some good-looking fox cubs! Either they've got good genes or their mom takes really good care of them, or both! I've no idea how Simon resists petting them.
I have a tall wood fence around my back yard, small critters have dug a hole underneath on all three sides so they have their paths, but still keeps the dogs out. Two years ago replaced 3/4 of the lawn with native plants, shrubs, trees to provide habitat, and left a little patch of grass for me.
I saw a fox in Moscow in the night first time in my life this summer because of covid pandemy.. It was from the near citypark I think.. Fox teener tryed to play with an old dachshund...was funny)))
Magnificent! really beautiful this beautiful rescue of the 4 little foxes. They didn't look very wild, did they? Very happy to know that they found their mom 🦊
We have a hedgehog 🦔 highway between us and our immediate neighbours (the two houses linking to the other side s have small dogs that could be a risk. Also have a resident hedgehog and two feeding stations. Two hedgehogs have been seen on the night camera.
Glad you were able to help them all get a happy ending. ^^ Also they were simply adorable. I love foxes, from the arcitc to flying, always a treat to see them. ^^ On another note, it was seriously wierd seeing how crowded the streets were.
Seriously ... Canada has about a fifth of the confirmed covid-19 cases that the UK has, and we're all pretty much confined to our houses now. Stores are mostly closed except for grocery stores, pharmacies, and gas stations. Anyone who can work at home is now working at home. When I saw the homeowner near the beginning of the video come really close to Simon, I was like ack!! Get away!
@@Nirrrina Good point - for some reason that possibility hadn't occurred to me, even though I've been reminding myself of that for various other UA-cam channels I watch. Hopefully that's the case.
@@Nirrrina Hmm that could be, and hopefully it is, but british friends tell me that many places are still buisness as usual, and the uk leaders really dropped the ball on the whole situation. Now that the politicians are finally doing something, changes will hopefully come soon, but even in countries where leaders were quick to act and set strong guidelines too many ppl are having trouble grasping the fact that they need to change their behaviour and follow the new rules. In countries where the leaders failed so badly, that will be an even bigger problem. Anyway thankyou for your input. :) Here's hoping that really is the case. Also hoping the UK citizens will start taking proper precautions asap.
Ambivalence... As the owner of two large dogs I need a walled garden for them. I understand and worry about the problem of the local wild life but must make a choice. Difficult and left with guilty feelings no matter which way I choose...
Dindin Private It’s understandable. Perhaps a small gate, similar to a dog-flap, you could open at night (not sure if you have your puppers indoors in the evening)? Regardless, it’s not necessarily your fault. In the end, your garden walls are not as bad as, say, a sports net that has not been tidied away when not in use. At least death isn’t as much a risk.
@@MrSlanderer They are house dogs and go for regular walks of 30 minutes 3 times a day, but also need to run freely and play. For the latter they do need a fully fenced garden. The idea of a small gate is an interesting one. I shall ask the gardener to see to it. Thank you for the suggestion.
Much easier just to leave some light, narrow planks at a 45 degree angle leaning against the top of the fence. Too small and light for your dogs, one would imagine, but foxes and hedgehogs and squirrels should have no problem.
@@NoJusticeNoPeace That wouldn't work. The dogs would simply knock them about and they would end up flat on the ground... Thanks for the suggestion though.
One thing you can do to prevent wildlife from scaling the wall is to fasten some wire mesh or even just wooden planks at a 45 degree angle from the top edge of the wall, pointed outward and overhanging the outside of the wall. That way when animals try to climb the wall, they cannot go over since they can't climb upside-down. This also works well on cats if a cat has a balcony or walled patio to explore.
This is why people need to think about the wildlife when they build. Would be simple enough for him to remove a brick in the wall towards the bottom so animals can come and go.
May I suggest you flap over to Megabattie's channel and take a look from where she rescues flying foxes ? Beautiful bats that are truely not well understood . They are pollinators, just like bees and certain birds , they are needed, just like each animal, for nature to continue to give us flowers, fruits etc ! Have a nice day .
For those of you wondering, the homeowner later confirmed the cubs were back with mum :)
Great 🦊🦊🦊
Yay! I'm so happy to hear that
Yay! And thank you to the homeowner for the update. I'm sure a lot of people would have been wondering! 💕🦊
Awesome my friend and fox cubs are one of the cutest of all animals. Have a nice Sunday and stay safe from the damn virus.😀😁👌
Thank you for the additional info. I hope all grow up big and strong and can make good lives for themselves out there. 🙂❤🦊🤞
Thick coats, bright eyes and round bellies; those little kits have a very good momma
They looked incredibly healthy and well-fed as they each left the box. I hope they all found their mother safely. 🦊
They didn't seem very affraid of Simon, too. Maybe foxes started to tell stories about this specific human... :3

I love the fox that lives around my parent's house. It loves playing with their dog's toys.
Domesticated foxes are like the redheaded stepchild
That was so cute..the last one did not look like it wanted to leave...Great job Simon!
Foxes... The most precious little animals I know~ 🦊
Very glad to see them all safe & knowing they are back with their mom. ❤
Aww, I would have loved to see the mom joining them. I love your videos! Just wish they were longer ;)
Thank you for saving those beautiful creatures..
you are the best and the babies are back with their mom !

How nice. I'd love to do that but I'm in an apartment. Still I've seen a squirrel on my porch entertaining my cats who are indoor only.
