OMG, I knew there was a reason why I loved Bucerias besides the ocean and sun. Not going this winter and very upset about it, but in the near future I will make sure that we involve ourselves in these kinds of projects. Thank you to all that find it in their hearts for doing this.
I’m 4 months from retirement, when I can actually start doing the Canadian “6 months per country” routine. But since my husband’s Mexican, we’ve been building our home in a small town in central Mexico for the past decade, and I come down whenever I can. I’m already involved with a wonderful non-profit which brings free breast and cervical cancer screening to the women of our village and outlying rural communities, most of whom have barriers to going for such preventive care in the nearby city. I agree 100% with volunteering as a great way to become involved and make friends, as well as remaining fully engaged with a broader community in a meaningful way during retirement.
Thank you so much for sharing your story! It’s inspiring to hear how you’re preparing for retirement while already making a meaningful impact in your community.
This is really awesome. We are looking to move to Mexico here soon and your title caught our eye. We are really glad we found this video and saw the project you are documenting. We hope we can find groups like this in the Quintana Roo area. What state was this filmed in?
Very cool. We are in the state of Nayarit. Here is the full video if you haven't already seen it. ua-cam.com/video/BIhSfMheegM/v-deo.htmlsi=qvkjldCbbEzRlhDd
Paul are they taking donations? We have 2 twin metal bed frames and 1 queen frame. We're not going to use them and would like to donate them to casa LA Paz.
Super cool! Hola from Vallarta! Sorry for the random drop-in here...Paul, I know many moons back, you recommended a live translation app or other tool for your Smartphone. I can't remember what it was and can't find the video now. Can you remind me? If anyone else knows some good ones, very much appreciated!
I loved this video, you captured a great day and cause
Thanks for all your support 🙌
I wish I could like this a thousand times! I loved this. I wish I was there to help. And of course wishing Casa De la Paz to be a huge success!
Thank you so much!
