If we are heathy this line up is so perfect we just need julius to hoop in the playoffs if he is productive we will win the championship if he dosn't decide to take a pay cut I dont want him on my team. Knicks gotta stay healthy come post season

I am a realist as well as fanatical so barring any major health issues n Brunson’s will n Randle’s beast bull runs in CRUNCH time there are NO teams that can cover or switch with this SQUAD!!
Second string unit is the KEY to us being a great TEAM specifically the players each time coming off the bench
with Randle you got a true power forward.
If Randle can go hard on defense this year, we'll be the #1 seed. Especially with KP out half the season for Boston. Randle doesn't have to do too much on offense with who we now have so he should have the energy to lock up anybody.
Celtics don't need KP to win the title.
Focus on staying healthy and winning games, before you go beating your chest like you done something.

With OG and Bridges on the wings we really don't need Randle we need to trade him for a Center with the same attributes and have a forward like Robinson who plays hard and scrap and bc most PF have and make their own shots itvwould be better as a contributing player with BRUNSON MIKAEL and OG ,quite possibly SEQUEN OR DUREN AT CENTER OR SEQUEN CTR AND DUREN ,FRD🎉JUST DREAMIMN HUH?

I don't think Thibs goes back to 10 man lineup. If Mikal and OG play 34-35 minutes that only leaves 13-14 minutes for Donte and Hart. I can't see that them playing Obi minutes.

If Randle shoulder holds up
Knicks chances for a title probably improve if his shoulder doesn't hold up. Probably a second round exit either way, but without Randle, the ceiling is higher.

Divo shouldn’t lose his starting role, he had a phenomenal year at his position. It’ll be hard for Bridges to top that. We already have plenty of defense IMO, and Mikal off the bench, would be LETHAL and won’t mess up our established flow. Divo shoots the 3 better than Bridges and has a way quicker shot.

You'll get a lot of people disagreeing (Donte is the most underrated Knick) but you make a good point. There won't be a massive leap since Mikal is not really better at the 2 spot than Donte. The best 5 probably includes them both (JB, Donte, MIkal, OG, Mitch).
I think Briidges will have his best year.
Anybody that actually thinks that DiVo should start over Mikel Bridges is freakin delusional!! My NYK’s didn’t give up all those assets to acquire a bench player🤨. DiVo on the other hand, was signed last season for bench strength. He just happened to compliment Brunson better than Grimes, and was thrust into starting because of injury. The bottom line is that Bridges is simply a better player on both sides of the ball. Both Hart and DiVo are better suited to coming off the bench, and for possible spot starts due to unforeseen injuries.

I honestly feel bringing Randle off the bench and keep DDV In the starting line up with Bridges and OG at 3&4 . Randel could be a solid 20&8 off the bench potential 6th man plus his break out came coming off the bench and New Orleans

This is ridiculous. Just sit Randle 6 minutes into the game and bring him at the top of the 2nd quarter to play with the bench. That’s the likely scenario.
I like that idea. Maybe Randle keeps his starting role, but Thibs should at least consider closing games with him on the bench. If Randle's shot creation isn't needed, whoever Thibs plays instead of Randle will provide more defense, hustle, and floor spacing.
