Good points👍 One pant type that is also good is cargo pants that has the rubber stretchy thing on the bottom of the leg (difficult to explain 😅) so it wont go over the shoes and you can actually adjust the height if you want to show your socks little bit for example.
Go-to style for me is a pair of jeans & cuffing them above the ankle. If it all goes wrong though, you can't beat wearing a nice pair of GL3s w/ some cargo shorts
