This was my first rollercoaster, im so proud to live in Ireland, the origin of flavoured crisps (chips for the Americans) and the home of europe's biggest wooden rollercoaster.
this was my first roller coaster and I swear those little drops on roads that get your stomach I don't like lol this is had my eyes closed the entire time lmao
I went on this today. First time I ever went on a rollercoaster (I've been on other rides) so I closed my eyes the whole time. From the ground the rollercoaster is very loud, it almost sounds like a plane taking off! I don't know how good it is compared to others, but I enjoyed it.
went on this last summer, that drop is well higher in real life, during the drop the sensation I thought the coaster was coming of the track during the drop! Eyes were closed, held on for dear life, actually held on so tight my arm was in pain for at least 3-4 weeks after
I am a Kilbane from Cleveland, Ohio USA; part of the American Coaster Enthusiasts. I would love to ride this coaster - I love woodies. My grandparents were from Ireland - County Mayo, Achill Island to be precise.
Stupidly decided to choose this as my very first rollercoaster when I was thirteen… still have the photo key ring of me balling my eyes out in fear after going down that drop and feeling my seatbelt move
I'm so so so so happy!!! In my school we were meant to be going to Alton towers in manchester for our school trip but it was changed to DISNEYLAND PARIS.
It is unreal I went on it like 7 times But the time I went there there was NO cues at all the only time I had to wait was when I let people go on instead of me so I could sit in the front seat
Excellent coaster. I have been on roller coasters all over the states and this would defo be in my top 5. Very fast and longer than most I would say but unbelievable experience...
I went on this rollercoaster 🎢 at the Tayto Park in August 2016 and it was so freaking scary and thrilling. I was 26 in that year. I'd like to go to Tayto Park again sometime
I love this ride to bits, I went on it but I kept passing out, as I am, faint hearted. Totally recommend this to everyone. Also the fact it's made out of wood doesn't scare you. It's the fear and fun that your on the ride that makes it better :)
I went on a school trip here last year in the start of end of may, I refused to go on it for the first hour and then when I went on it I couldn't stop going back to it. It was really fun and I would love to go there again and ride the Rollercoaster again.
@@Letheris yeah Def do (same person as commenter on alt) and even if you can't see much it's worth the experience. I almost lost them on the spinny tall thingy too. Definitely wear contacts if you have then
I love this ride. For me it’s the best ride I’ve ever went on in tayto park. I went to tayto park last month and I’m going again next week. This ride looks so scary in irl but trust me once u get on it u don’t wanna get off I went about 6 times and I’m sooo exited to go again
Just the other week, I went to Tayto Park; with my sister who is 11 years older than me (I'm 29), her partner, my 17 year old nephew & my (almost) 5 year old niece & it was the first time I'd ever even heard of the place, let alone visited it. Unfortunately, I'm physically disabled (relying on a motorised/electric wheelchair) & I can't use my legs at all; so going on rides was out of the question for me. I wasn't going to let it spoil the day for everyone else, though. Although it put me through a lot of pain, it was an enjoyable experience compared to staring at my bedroom walls every day. Before it was time to go home, my nephew begged his mum to try the ride in this video; but she said no. My sister is terrified of anything like flying or being high up; so much so that I once had to comfort her on an airplane flight (years ago, when I was just 4-5 years old), as she was shaking so much & was very much on the verge of tears... ✨✈️✨
Now, though; I can't help feeling a bit mean, because I asked her to ride it on my behalf (I told her that if she experienced it; that I would be able to channel whatever she felt while sitting on the ride & that it would be as though she was taking me with her). Okay, so maybe not 100% true. But I felt that it would be an experience for her; something she'd never forget & so, I thought I was doing some good. Besides, it gives her heart a thorough test & would ensure that her heart is strong & healthy for her age, you know? Plus my nephew REALLY wanted to see his mum have a go on the roller-coaster & I always try to help my nieces/nephews whenever & however I can; & THEY, in turn, like to help ME whenever they possibly can. I know I could never ask for a better family... 💕✨👪✨💕
Went on this for the first time yesterday (I hadn’t been to the park in years) and it was so fun! 10/10 would recommend and I went on everything it was a blast. Also u should buy the €8 soda cups as they are able to be refilled forever whenever you have it with you and there’s lots of options of drinks
I was on it 20 minutes ago and the first drop felt like you were falling off (also he'll) and went on it 2 times. It was my first ever rollercoaster. I'm nine.
I went on it and oh my God that first drop was terrifying. I was so scared ( being 10 at the time ) that I didn't even scream- I just took my glasses off, put my head down and began humming to myself to calm myself down. It was funny tho- grown men were screaming more that my 8 year old sister.
I've always been too scared to go on it!😅 Actually we went to Tayto Park last week and sat outside it waiting on my family getting back for like 20 minutes 😭 (the line was really long)
The drop at the start is sooo much higher in real life 😂😂
I know right

The scariest thing about this rollercoaster is it was built in Ireland out of wood...
What's so scary about Ireland??
Lots of cool wooden coasters all over the world like this one maybe they might add a steel coaster in the future theme parks take time to develop
ua-cam.com/video/8kXuRVA7ezw/v-deo.html
puca wooden is more traditional for tayto if you live in the NI you would know that.
puca because it’s the biggest WOODEN Rollercoaster 🎢
The scariest bit is the end when everyone starts clapping
YES
Yep
yea
Yea at least they enjoyed it I guess 🤷 😅
Wonder if this park will grow into the best theme park in Ireland with more coasters.
Damo Coaster it's our only theme park but hopefully Ireland will get more of them
They've planned 2 more coasters :D
Well it's the only theme park we have sooooo
I think they might be putting a monarail there
Gacha Jinx is that including the flight school?

Is there not supposed to be an inversion?
It was advertised as an inversion but there's only an over banked turn.
So so true, they claim it's the largest inverted wooden coater in Europe but that turn hardly counts, just a gimmick.
Still the best wooden coaster in the British isles.
Darragh Noonan what's an inversion
when it goes upside down.
