This song has really grown on me and is one of my favs by PSB. The album was unusual in that it reversed the typical process by which pop/dance acts released singles. Instead of releasing an album of regular-length (3-5-minute) songs, then releasing lengthy remixes of those songs on subsequent singles, Introspective was released as an LP consisting of songs that all lasted six minutes or more. LTMOD is over 8 minutes long on the album.
@@SephPlays Aw, thank you so much Seph 💗🙏 And may I too add a very Happy Easter to you & yours in advance 💗🐇💜🐰💙🌷💚🌻💛🌞🙏💕 And also it is always a joy watching your reactions 😍
I think your interpretation is dead-on. The whole album from which this track was taken, Introspective (1988), is superb. Frankie Knuckles remixed the track "I Want a Dog" into a complete banger. And it was featured in the recent movie "All of Us Strangers" during the club scene.
Por fa q tu próximo video sea " can your forgive her? " de psb claro. Me alegraste el día, estaba triste q perdió mi tenista favorito y tu reacción me levantó el ánimo. Besos y espero más de Neil y Chris.
I'm really glad you ventured into PSB's again. Overall i enjoy this song but I 100% agree with the chorus, something doesnt quite flow of the tongue or falls flat a bit in general with it, good song but i agree with your take on it.
@@SephPlays it's a fantastic song, it was deemed too dark as in not a very well lit video they deemed it not suitable as in you could barely see through all the smoke etc. keep loving the pet shop boys Neil Tennant and Chris lowe are amazing, have you watched their brand new song called loneliness? The video for it is very risqué
One of their best albums ever from start to finish. Height of their creativity.
their 4 albums please, actually, introspective and behaviour are all so good. but yeah Left to my own devices is one of their best songs I think :)
This is one of their best songs.
FULL STOP

Yes Pet Shop Boys!!!!
The full version of the song is on the album "Introspective". More than 8 minutes long.
Yes, indeed. Why haven’t you listened / reacted to the wondrous voice of Neil Tennant for more than a year?!
Try THIS MUST BE THE PLACE I WAITED YEARS TO LEAVE from their 1991 album BEHAVIOUR
When they did this for the ‘Trevor Horn’ (he produced it) concert it’s with a live orchestra and an opera singer! It’s awesome.
Hey Seph 🙋
Just here to show my support.
I know nothing about the Pet Shop Boys 😀
Hope you have a lovely Friday & weekend ✌🙏💕
Awww thank you ❤️ lovely to read your comments no matter where they be 😍

You should of used the version on introspective album.
Introspective versión it's the Best.
Sorry but if this is the first time you’ve heard the PSB version of this song then you must have been living on mars.

React to the "Bilingual" album.
An interesting titbit......this video was banned on MTV........for being too dark!
Dark is not the word i would use to describe this song!

I havent heard it yet. I'll add it to my list 📃
One of their best songs but one of their worst videos. Pet Shop Boys and Trevor Horn, both at their respective peaks, is an absolute dream team.
The album version is better. I hope you'll react to the new song Dancing star that will be released april 4. It will sound fantastic.
extra......
Spot on Seph, not one of their best but still a very good song.
It absolutely IS one of their best!
The versión álbum is better
