The freezes absolutely helped, but those combos were INSANE. Manipulating both the high special atk and the unpredictable weather to hammer hard was impressive. Innovative Adabtibility strats too!!

To be honest, that WAS some major luck netting two Freezes in the first battle. I can totally understand the opponent getting salty over it. They basically lost two Pokémon completely uncontested.
I mean, 30% chance for each pokemon hit by blizzard. He used it 3 times and got 2 freezes out of 4 possible freezable pokemon. It's a little lucky, but it's about a 35% chance he would get 2 or more freezes from that.

Basically, he won with 1 in 10 odds twice in three attempts. To put it in absolutes. He would have had to use Blizzard ten times to freeze both opponents once.
that was so creative , according to my view galceon has really good special attack base of 130, mediocore defenses , i guess it would be better if its movepool was increased

The freeze only mattered against one of them, though. Heatran would've died either way if you rewatch the clip.

Glaceon's problem is the same as Flareon's: It's too slow. Except Glaceon actually has it worse by only having one resistance to work with.
