I buy a lot of clippers. Not because I need to, but I'm always curious about speed and performance. I've had nothing but bad luck with StyleCraft. From returns to messed up motors...I just don't trust the longevity anymore. With that said, my absolute favorite clipper for the past year has be the .50 Cal BMG. It lasts all day with zero worries, the blades are top grade and last a long time before needing to be replaced and they fit great in the hand. I have never had a clipper that I could speak volumes about. I hope one day I can feel the same about a StyleCraft product again.

Great review reggie, I feel like the rebel and saber reign supreme, not to mention looking forward to seeing u get the black saber which drops in January as well, but furthermore the instinct clipper is a unique design but than stylecraft/gamma literally drop so many products back to back each month where ppl be like dang I just bought this now they coming out with this, but overall nice clipper and trimmer duo but a PASS for me but them black sabers are a must cop looking forward to seeing u review those
Reg you on point about the clippers. I rock wit you because you keep it 100. Get rid of the mag 1/16. Replace it with the thinner Wahl 1/16. Best clippers ever made in my opinion. Keep the game going bro! Best of luck too you and your business.

They are just a newer company and they're trying to find their niche. Coming in to an industry where there's some powerhouses I was says you gotta try as many different things as you can and see what sticks. At the very least they're gonna change how these companies approach new models from now on I'm thankful for that. Definitely comes off as gimmicky though I understand why you say that. A whole new type of motor though come on we aint seen that since shiiiiiiiiiiiiit never 🤣🤣🤣.

i agree on the trimmer, a magnetic motor is for lineup, brushless and rotary will debulk better, thats why people like the saber over this , more torque
Same for clippers. It’s crazy how many people will see 10,000 SPM or any clipper with a “fast motor” and expect it to be versatile without doing their research first lol
Would you say that the brushless motors don't last long? I've had both the Jrl clipper and outliner motors die in under a year, I got the replacement motors on Ali express but it's a major disappointment for me
I been looking forward to checking these out, now that I saw this vid I’m kind of thinking twice, maybe I can just get the Savers my buddy has those and tHere hitters. As for the clippers they do look dope but do seem a little small.
If you didn’t know, the trimmer has a clipper motor in it that’s why it’s shaped the way it is

i think the battery life is 4 hours if it doesnt have to rev up too much to cut through lots of hair constantly. that increase in power probably kills the battery faster same thing happens with my jrls. If im cutting short hair with it all day it will last full 4 hours. If im doing a lot of transformation cuts a particular day i noticed it dies in 2 - 3 hours

Man these clippers cost too much and come out too often to just be mediocre. The looks is where they get you but the performance usually doesn’t match up. It’s cool if you get them gifted but to spend ya hard earned bread to be disappointed is different 😡 I appreciate Reg honest reviews ✊🏾

i think it has a stretch bracket in the box so i think it would open to a 1 with that lever on it.

It doesn’t open up to a 1. Its the same as the wahl legend. Its a .75 to bridge the gap between the .5 & 1 guard. Suppose to cut of the middle man (.5 Guard)
Nothing really opens to a 1 guard realistically. They open to a 1 blade which is very different than a actual guard. there still is a slight difference between the two. It does make it easier to skip the .5 guard with the right technique though

This is strange, UA-cam BARBER ACADEMY just tested out the Instict trimmers and it was cutting like butter. He even said that these cut through faster and smoother than even the Sabers.
I really like YTBA but he’s sponsored by them to promote them heavy, he has a fairly biased view. He said that their basic foil shaver was better at cutting than Braun series 9. I have both and couldn’t disagree more 😂
Different experience, this is why it’s good to gather a few reviews sometimes to gather a bit more info. I definitely try to give a full use and the detailed experience from my end.

This clipper blade gets hot too quick.
It's like this....TPOB GOBLIN has StyleCraft Instinct beat... their blade don't get hot like that gold blade StyleCraft uses...plus is almost $100 cheaper. Yea, TPOB GOBLIN don't come with stretch bracket and extra bodies but that's basically it! I'm a little upset I paid almost $300 for StyleCraft Instinct but happy I spent under $200 for TPOB GOBLIN! C'MON AMERICA WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON! Then their is a Gold and Black pair of clippers made like The Instinct and the GOBLIN but their $3000.00 wth.. they come from Spain... so yea my question is...who is really copying who?
