I loved Project Hail Mary! I listened on audiobook which was amazing. I also have read The Martian by Andy Weir and can attest that the science is once again very accessible! (The movie adaptation of The Martian was really great too, but obvs the book is worth reading first.)

for water based mediums i use my strathmore mixed media sketchbook, and for these other ones i just use a generic one from blick art!

I recognize the hyperfocus with reading, it's mostly because of my autism/adhd, but I could work on a project and suddenly realize I haven't eaten or even went to the bathroom for hours and then I feel very bad 😂 And realize I live in reality and not only my fun project hahahah

August is also my birthday mth so was thinking it might be nice to join your Patreon in Aug too. 😊 However I do have 1 suggestion, if it might be possible to insert a backing card for those pretty cards that you sent out? Because both my Jun & Jul Patreon rewards (from another artist) were kinda damaged during the shipping. And I felt that it was really quite a pity and sad to receive damaged artwork. So for your future consideration as well. 😘
