I'd love to! I wish I had some friends who could teach me miniature wargaming. Bolt action just seems so damn awesome...

Thanks for the video. Again, do they have boxes to buy the models that are the equivalent to the cardboard equipment? And, are the cardboard pieces the size of 1:72 models?

So this is the big downfall of this game. Airfix does NOT have models for each unit represented in this game. On top of that, some units that it actually does have, are not produced in 1:72 (Like the king tiger). Replacing the counters with minis will be frustrating and very hard. There is a guide how to do it on Boardgamegeek forums and you'll have to buy minis from several different producers. Thanks for the kind words!

Hi. There is no strict rule that states the miniatures need to be 1/72 scale or even Airfix. I have collected a bunch of 15mm stuff for AB: more than adequate for the job, perhaps better for it. You can get these in the UK from "Plastic Soldier Company", from "Peter Pig", from "Skytrex", and, on the more expensive end, from Battlefront / Flames of War. For 3D printed vehicles, of which you do not need any more than there are vehicle cards, try Butlers Printed Models. My best deal recommendation is Plastic Soldier Company for infantry and guns (or Skytrex for pewter soldiers, if you prefer) + Butlers Printed Models for the few vehicles. You do not need to buy any more than what is required by your total number of cards, or, as I have done, purchase what you need per each scenario over time, collected and played 1 scenario per month.
