I have to add that Dio had a lot more than a few great bangers. He had a long and fantastic career stretching over several bands with an amazing number of great songs. This is a stupendously deep rabbit hole to dive into.
Dio was quite possibly the mest metal vocalist ever. Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden is way up there, too.
Ronnie James Dio was so good that in his 70th year alive, he won the Golden God award for best metal vocalist, and Satan had to pry him from the earth himself so someone else could have a shot at it the following year.

@@kevintheneck Ronnie James Dio joined Black Sabbath in 1979, they put out two studio albums and one live album. Dio left the band in 1982. He rejoined Black Sabbath in the early 90s, they made one album then he left again.
Around 2006 the record company put out a Black Sabbath greatest hits the Dio years album. Dio, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler wrote three new songs for that greatest hits album. They went out on tour to support the album and toured under the name Heaven and Hell instead of Black Sabbath.
Heaven and Hell put out one studio album and two live albums and two live DVDs before Dios passing in 2010.
and it was sharon osbourne who recommended dio after ozzy was fired for excessive drinking.
One of the only few Rockers who could sing for Black Sabbath and pull it off after Ozzy went on his own.
Dio did two albums with Black Sabbath and they're both insane. "Falling Off the Edge of the World", "Mob Rules", "Sign of the Southern Cross" All great.

Great reaction as usual Leo!! I was fortunate enough to see Dio perform live along with Motorhead at a show; both acts opened for Iron Maiden. This was about 10 years ago. RIP Rodney Dio. I always knew he was a small dude - but seeing him live really put that in perspective and gave me a new appreciation for just how tiny he was to have that much soul and power in his voice.
He also replaced Ozzy as the vocalist for Black Sabbath and also was singer in Rainbow. His discography is huge. Any song from there is worth checking out.
for my 2cents, try: All the Fools Sailed Away (for great vocals and feels) and Rainbow in the Dark (for great hard rockin')

This is Dio's 1st solo album after recording 2 albums with Black Sabbath, I saw all 3 of these albums concerts 🤘🔥 At Red Rocks outdoors amphitheater I booed Dee Snyder off stage then there was a dark thunderstorm and pouring rain which cleared with a 🌈 in the sky over Dio as he opened with Rainbow in the Dark 🤘

He's ridiculously amazing vocalist. The only time I seen Black Sabbath live is when Dio was singing for them. Great reaction. Glad you got to know this song , it's a classic. Definitely check out Black Sabbath with Dio singing. You would like that a lot
