At least those 4 road games in the middle of the season are against teams the Vikings SHOULD be able to beat. I hope the Defense is up to speed to start the season those are some tough teams.
I mean Always right seemingly. I think the Vikes have had 1 home game in which they won in 2021 but then its just been in Seattle on a Monday or Sunday night.
The way I look at it is that if the Offense don't make those stupid mistakes and the Defense plays even better than it did last year, the Vikings can do what they always do. That is have a good year when you least expect it. The Case Keenum season was one of those years
17 -- 0 for the regular season!!! Only you, I, and my long time chum, the Tibetan Buddhist priest, the Venerable Bijay Gianprakesh, who resides in a monastery high up on Mt Kanchenjunga in Nepal, have had the cojones to make this prediction. Great call, Andy!! Let the season unfold!
@@trollblox_ Teams should get three weeks to figure things out before facing their divisional opponents and the first divisional round should happen before the bye weeks start.
@@trollblox_ And I didn't specify, but teams play each of the three opponents in each round...no playing the same team twice within a week or two. This isn't complicated since these two three week periods would be committed to divisional games only.
Yeah this schedule is BS, I think the best case scenario we have a bad start and play better down the stretch and maybe go 7-10 or 8-9 and go into next feeling good about McCarthy. But Jefferson might be gone with a season like that. I think similar to the 2022 Lions with the 1-5 start and then going 9-8. Also anybody notice how we play Seattle in Seattle again for like the 8th time in the last 10 years.
Really hard to make a prediction when you don't know which QB will be in for how long.. but I can see 7-7 going into the last 3 weeks with a playoff shot 🤷
I think there are still 8 home games in Minnesota and 1 in London in the unbalanced schedule. 17 games 8 road and "9 home" or "8" because of that London game.
Gotta beat them all at some point to win a Super Bowl, helps they get some easier ones on the lead up this year. Can we please win more this year? Is that too much to ask? Barely missed the playoffs last year with a bag of chips at QB. Skol!
Gotta say, if that's the 5th hardest schedule it doesn't look that bad. And we get a lot of our toughest games at home. If we can just learn to win games there, that would be banner.
@pirateking8988 first 5 weeks are brutal. Early bye week. On the road a ton early on. It eases up a bit later on but your season might be over already.
@@saryphx how do you figure? It's just a brutal schedule. Regardless of wins/losses. You have a "home" game in London and a week 6 bye. Ask any nfler they'll tell you week 9-10 is the best bye and.
Dude got to take it easy with those rose colored glasses. I watch this podcast a lot and it's waaaaaay too positive on Vikes prospects. McCarthy is unlikely to lead team to single victory this year. Sam Darnold is our QB and has been a proven loser. we have weak trenches (interior O-line, bums at DT) Let's be realistic, Vikes will struggle to be a .500 team. I am a 40 year fan never missed a game. let's keep it real.
He knows that dude, he obviously doesn’t think the Vikings are going 17-0 he does this every year. He’s a fan. And a fan should be like, Andy not a pessimist like you. Pessimistic people are depressing af and you might as well have fun while your covering your favorite team
Sam Darnold is a “proven loser”?! Have you seen the teams he had to play for? The Adam freakin Gase Jets, who couldn’t coach himself out of a paper bag? Or the Panthers and…well, do I really need to explain the Panthers to you?
I'd be very happy with a winning record through the first five. Defending NFC champs, Packers, and Texans, plus the Jets have a really good defense and Rodgers is maybe a bit if a wildcard, but he's always been one of the best. We should beat the Giants, I'd be very disappointed if we lost that game, and it'd just feel rotten to lose that one when you have four straight coming up against much stronger opponents. With our stud TE out, and with the big shakeup at QB, it's going to have to be our defense that puts us over the top early, but I have faith in them because of Flores and the guys we brought in.
Knowing this team after watching them for over 30 years, I'd say we'll be 1-4 at the bye, & finish 4-13 for the season. Here's hoping we get a top 5 pick in next year's draft.
I just feel like if we end up potentially picking top 4 this year why did we trade around so much for a qb this year lmao 😂 We should’ve just rode the year out with Darnokd and picked our guy next year or signed a free agent
living in san diego, i already bought my ticket to the game in LA itll be my first NFL game im pretty hyped
Pays off being a Vikings fan from New Jersey. Get to go to the season opener baby
3 division games the last 4 wks of the season. Wow the schedule is brutal
That's a brutal start before the bye. Gotta hope the offense gels quickly. or this could be ugly in a hurry.
Hope to steal a couple wins before the bye and really get rolling mid season.. the schedule doesn't do the purple any favors (like usual)
I live in Jacksonville. Hopefully I’ll be able to take my son to his first game. pretty excited for the season. Skol
vikings winning the super bowl this year
And if not, then next year! 😅
I wish
Who are they going to beat.... And what's the score?
Vikings 27
Texans 24
That’s our hope EVERY year! 😂

Always @ Seattle

Same with the jets being at Denver all the time
Glad we don't get the falcons during kirktober
15-2!!!! also only cold weather games we play id late Chicago and Seattle which is great

He dose this every year it’s just Channel tradition to “pick” the Vikings to win every game they play
I just don't like giving away Home games to Another Country. They will play the Jets and why shouldn't that have been in Minnesota?
17 -- 0 for the regular season!!!

Texans game has to be Sunday night football, Thats a Movie right there
I am going to try to get tix to that one!
Ouch for a 3rd place team that's a tough go good luck
Divisional games should be weeks 4-5-6 and 16-17-18, without exception. Byes should fall in weeks 7 -11.
why 4-5-6?

I don't see a loss on that schedule
Vikings did host Seattle one time--in the playoffs... lmao
10-7
Right 👌 I was thinking 9-8 or 10-7, depending on if we sweep the Bears
i got 5-12 lmao
This schedule is rough imo
Wouldn’t surprise me if we notched 10 wins or 10 losses this season.
we should start McCarthy against the giants itll be an easier game for him to get some exprience

10-7 is my prediction
Week 10 for the bye week ...
We go into bye at 3 and 2. Then go 3 and 3 win out the rest of the season.
I see 4-1 going into the bye.
12-5 for the season. (Give or take)
Gotta say, if that's the 5th hardest schedule it doesn't look that bad. And we get a lot of our toughest games at home. If we can just learn to win games there, that would be banner.
Can easily win 3 or 4 of those
We start 0-4 then McCarthy takes over and we win 12 straight ending up 12-5.
That's not an easy schedule.
If it was like this I think they go 9-9 but with the potential to go 10-8.
They play 17 games. The math doesn’t work
Ngl this schedule looks brutal lol

6-11 top 10 pick next year. Lose first 7 in a row.

2-3 at the bye
