We think probably your best sailing video. Good edit and use of Ken Burns on aerial shots that looked like drone footage. Liked it! Sail Safe Guys, Ant, Cid & the pooch crew.
Used to like diving at Ringhaddy when the weather was too bad for the open sea. Large motor yacht owned by the Guiness family sits on the bottom at 20m after some fittings were found to be 'missing' at the end of WW2 and therefore couldn't be returned to the family, so misteriously sank. Still a great location, is the Portaferry underwater centre still there? it has a model which shows the flow of water in and out. Oh and a dive from the ferry up into the lough is always an interesting scary dive. Thanks for the video ladies
We did not see a Portaferry Underwater Centre, but then we never knew to look for one 😁 Portaferry gets coverage in our next video, but we decided not to try some of the sounds after we nearly grounded the dinghy in a couple ...😁😁😁 Thanks for commenting
Yes slyc is definitely more of a club where the members live on shore and have cars so for the likes of me I can get to the club in a few mins but definitely not somewhere for non members because the gates are operated using a member’s wristband
I love Strangford Loch and the Mourne Mountains, lovely part of the country. My only gripe with norn iron is the beer, can't get a decent pint of bitter anywhere. Topical book recommendation: The Blue Cabin by Michael Faulkner.
I will take your word on that (not being a beer drinker). The wine is good though as the Supermarkets and Offies supply all our favourite tipples 😃 Thanks for the Blue Cabin link. We skipped Ringhaddy but we hope to go back one day...
Strangford is surprisingly deep in those small Chanel’s I cknow they at least fit a forty foot j109 because I’ve seen my friend take theirs through those Chanel’s also quick plug they are “bottom up boats” on UA-cam
OK. I will have a look. I thought you meant those things that Gaynor's mum uses (she was a terror when we last took her shopping and knocked over a lingerie display in M&S)

Wow! Praise indeed. Thank you.
again a lovely Beverly and I by Salty Lass, enjoyed it, and the soon making Cottage Pie
Thanks. It was a pity that our time there was limited, we would like to have seen more of it.
My home port Killyleagh, great we club, just getting back to normal after covid.
We certainly enjoyed our visit there and met some really great people (who we encountered again in Scotland - Yipee Do-Dah!!!!)
Beverley and Gaynor great video⛵️⚓️❤️💕 the virus is really messing things up here in Canada too 👎
Thanks Wayne. 🖒

Yeoo 10:53 Daft Eddies :)
Daft Eddies during lockdown. More like Closed Eddies 😄
Great video Ladies & was good to see you both (alternatively) in Carrickfergus !x
It was a surprise seeing you here, but a lovely one 👍

Well, we can manage because we always have access to the pontoons 😉

We are happy to explore on Salty Sausage, but thanks for letting us know 👍
Enjoyed that one. One question. Did not see any go go dancers.😇
Go-go dancers??? There are not many glitzy nightclubs in the bays and sounds of Strangford 😁😁
Your Music. Was expecting to see go go dancers cavorting around Salty Lass's deck 😇
Or around YOUR deck - which is the danger of being moored next to us 😁😁😁
You might want to consider getting one if not two of them electric scooters I see people on nowadays. They’d take you to the shops no problem.
What? The sort of thing that Grandma uses? I think we would sink. Those things are not light. 😄😄😄 Besides, the exercise does us good
Sailing Yacht Salty Lass no more of a scooter that kids use but for adults

Sailing Yacht Salty Lass My late mother in law run over a poor shop assistants foot in Asda and blamed them being in the way 😫
That is how it should be 👍 Older ladies in scooters need no excuse... Gaynor's mum merely said "Silly bu**ers - what did they put it there for?"
Can you use a two stroke on the lough
I have no idea. Our outboard is a 4-stroke
There nothing that’s says you can’t my outboard is a 40hp 2 stroke and no one says anything and my skipper uses a 2 stroke seagull and he’s fine
