This is so awesome. Love seeing devices other than kids toys being circuit bent. Also so an interesting video with a circuit bent digital camera.
3:30. Best mode. I had been wondering if you could grab tthe bits, and invert or subtract bits before output. I’m kinda doing this type thing with an old 4gb Sony Digital recorder from the 90s. I think it will be a better addition to the isd1820s.
these green switches sounds exactly like a sample from this band called BLARF!
Great job! 👍 Loving the sounds! 💗💃
Beautiful glitch!
Excellent glitch consider adding momentary arcade button what go on if the switch is on or off if the switch is on
Yes that's what I wanted to do but I had not enough money for this.. Next time !
Oh shit, ready to jam at 0:55
Edit: nvm this whole thing jams. I could literally dance to these as is.

Holy crap this is so cool!!!
This would be great for resampling loops, to get new part.
No. Only play.
so sick!!
Excellent bend!
5:47 break the beats up!!! 👍😎❤️
That Foxy Brown flipp at the end is crazy!
This is amazing
2:18 sounds like the intro to "know your enemy" by ratm.
Youpi cool !
oh...Sampling 2.0
WOW
The part from around 6:55 to 7:20 reminds me of The Ballet of the Unhatched Chicks ua-cam.com/video/8cJSbWtTia4/v-deo.html
and also parts of The Gnome ua-cam.com/video/jGZD6tJ2Lw4/v-deo.html
from Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
Great job! Sounds amazing! Just bought a couple of Thoman CD players to attempt a similar job. Don't suppose you remember the name of the chip that you found the bends on? I looked through the Discbitch build blog but different chip set being a Sony so a bit lost with the Thoman at the mo. Any help would be great!
Your discman must have an anti-shock chip to do this. Then you try by shorting the pins together.

Inspiring!
Dubstep sample haven
cool!
bboooo o o o i i i i iiii
How do I get one of these
Thanks that's great! you used switches but on the blog there is no switch used. Is it the same hack?
Yes
@ Does it work on all cd players?
Do you build these for sale
