    Absolutely the most inspirational Christian, homesteading family blog I have ever seen. Thank you for putting yourself out there. I support and respect you for standing.

    I was crying right along with you when you were talking about your son’s food allergies. I have had anaphylactic food allergies all my life, I’m now a grown woman with children of my own. I pray that God blesses you and your family. Your son is blessed to have a mother and father and family that cares so much for him and makes sure he is safe.

    Your testimony is such an encouragement to me. My daughter, Selah, was born with a rare disease which requires a liver and kidney transplant. Her medical needs made our lives very different from those around us. We chose/were led to homeschool and home church to protect her from illness, but quickly learned that there were benefits from a faith standpoint for homeschooling and intimate family worship (with others when possible). Sometimes, there has been judgment from others (and tears of doubt on our part wondering if we're are doing it all wrong)...Sometimes it can feel like we are isolating ourselves, but the truth is that we are protecting our daughter from harm. We are learning to trust God's will in our life, and ultimately God is blessing us and growing us spiritually because of Selah's condition. God has used your testimony to encourage me to continue seeking Him for our family. Thank you!

    I LOVE that daddy leads his family in learning Who God is and in worship to Him!!! This is going to be sooooo good for your children. As a children’s minister’s kid I’ve seen first hand that you can teach all the things at church but parents that are engaged followers of Jesus who are teaching at home can make a bigger impact in their child’s life.

    I can't even imagine how hard that would be for your son to avoid everything. And you deciding to home church is not living in fear. It's called protecting your child from harm. And you should be getting respect for that and not ridicule. You did good.

    Watching this is such a blessing. Gabriel was set apart to create a path for your family to remove themselves from the busy and fast paced world we are all stuck in. I commend you for your courage to talk to everyone about your choices and I am thrilled that you stand so firmly. Your husband is leading his family under the loving guidance of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, let the naysayers fall on deaf ears. 💕

    As a Christian myself I feel that doing home church is wonderful. My family and I stopped going to church years ago for other reasons and now we worship our Lord from our home as well. We are the temple of God and it doesn’t make any difference where we worship him just as long as we do and keep him first in our lives. Blessings to you and your family!! Cindy

    I’m having a problem the various people you know or don’t, that feel they have a right to question how and why you do what you do and live the way you live. As long as it doesn’t harm anyone , what you do should be your decision and no one else’s. The safety and happiness of your family is what should matter and folks should worry about themselves. You have a lot on your plate and I wish peace and love to your family.

    I am Anglican. (Episcopalian) You are doing the right thing for Gabriel. People who try to make you feel you must go to their building to worship obviously don't know that the first 'Churches' were in caves, and then houses. I do personally go to a church building, but my children are all adults so there is no fear of allergies. You are a wonderful mom, don't ever let people lead you to doubt. We had a 15acre place in beautiful Nova Scotia when our children were young and we all often say now, that's the time when we were happiest. My husband of 52 years (yes we married young) died in faith and I now am in an apartment in Ontario where all of our children are. But at 75 I still do some canning and still lots of baking. Even thought my children have my recipes, they still want their favorite's made by me. .they say its just not the same when they make it! Blessings to you and your family from me here in North Bay.

    You have a beautiful family and you’re so inspirational. Btw, you do not look 40 at all. You’re stunning. My family and I are Catholic and attend mass every Sunday, but I am 100% certain your family knows the Bible more than my entire parish. Lol! So, just because one goes to a church doesn’t mean they know more than someone who does home church. You inspire me to read the Bible more. So, I thank you. 🙏🏼 😊

    You answered all of the questions beautifully. It’s so nice seeing a fellow Christian woman sticking to her convictions.
    I’m a Catholic Mom who also lives in the country. I wear dresses often but not always because of practicality as well. I cover my head at Mass with a veil. I wear a black veil, the symbolism for a married Catholic woman, is that the veil is over our heads like God and our Husband, the black is because I’m married, until death do we part. The single women who veil typically wear white or light colors.
    God Bless!

    Years ago I was a children’s director in our Presbyterian church and a group of us went to California to observe the “ new model “ of family ministry. The approach was that the scripture for that Sunday would be taught through the message, music, maybe a video clip or through art. A discussion in the pew with your family or whoever you were seated by ( like a small group) type situation. As you were talking about your family church literally that is what you are doing. You are the church.

    I have never once commented on a video, I just watch but I need to tell you that I soooo appreciate everything you are saying about your own beliefs and letting your kids choose their own paths even if they get ideas from you or if their own ideas differ. I come from a VERY large family of southern baptist but was raised methodist and have found my way to Him being all about MY relationship and that that is the most important piece of the puzzle (even if my VERY big family doesn’t agree and thinks I should just follow them). The fact that you have such strong convictions but are letting them choose their relationships themselves is such an amazing thing that I think a lot of people are missing... praise you for letting them find Him instead of you finding Him for them!!

    Thank you for being so authentic. I have a daughter with a peanut allergy, pet allergies and seasonal allergies and it has definitely affected choices that we make as a family as to where we can go and things she can do. Most people go out of their way to be careful and accommodating but there are those who just don't or can't understand. I didn’t write this comment when I finished watching it, but your words have been on my mind and heart, so just wanted to say, I’m 70 and have never chosen to debate my religious beliefs, god bless you and your family. I believe god will send you many blessings!

    I thoroughly enjoyed this video, listening to the why’s. I too cover, most generally on a daily basis. There are days that I don’t, but for the most part I wrap daily and thoroughly enjoy it. I actually feel vulnerable if I don’t wrap. I love feeling safe in the Lord. I honestly can understand why people will swaddle babies to comfort them. I feel the same way about my wraps.

    Thank you so much for sharing your story! Home church is a beautiful thing. We also home church as well & we have seen a lot of growth within our family in having home church. It has been a beautiful change for us.
    The Lord bless you and keep you;
    The Lord make His face shine upon you,
    And be gracious to you;
    The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
    And give you peace.

    I can’t imagine the severity of the allergies of Gabe as well as your chrons plus your concern. Never will you be judged by the only one who matters for caring for your children he’s blessed you with. And you could be a help to others who in the future may not be able to go to church because of government overreach

    I find you a very strong and beautiful woman with a beautiful family. My great grandfather always said I don't need a church to believe and read the Bible. And he was right, I think the same. Your blessed and I love your channel. 🥰

    Have you thought of inviting others in your community to your home church? Be clear about the allergies. I use to go to a bible study with a lady who was severely allergic to perfumes and artificial scents. She was clear about this and we knew not to have any scents on us. Fellowship is important because as iron sharpens iron, we sharpen each other as believers. My family went many years doing Church only at home by ourselves and having fellowship again has been so life changing for us. Thanks for sharing so much about yourself! You are an inspiration!! God bless!!

      I was wondering since the start of the pandemic does the church you used to attend have online services. In the UK this seems to be common. I just wondered if it was another option for your family, along side what you already do

    Praise God for your testimony. I identify with you re: headcoverings. We must follow the leading and guiding of God's Word and the Holy Spirit. My husband and I had a home church for 4 years, it was wonderful. God eventually moved us to a small Bible based non denomination church. We faced push back in doing so, but knew we had to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. We must go by faith, not by sight. May the Lord Jesus bless you and your family abundantly. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into your channel. It is a huge blessing to me.

    Since our son was born 19 months ago, we've been having church at home. Granted we participate in our congregation's online Sacrament Service. However, at this time my husband administers the Sacrament to our family since we don't go to the church. I lead daily scripture study but he has taken on leading the family counsel and devotional times during the week. I wear a head covering when serving the Lord in His house and when I feel convicted to do so, which has become more frequent since becoming a wife and mother. Modest clothing has always been a mainstay for myself and like your husband enjoys you in different clothes, my husband enjoys me and my dressing style the same way. We also get some feedback about our choices to homeschool, homestead, and homechurch but when we remind them it's what we feel God wants for our family they let it lay. We have many challenges and choices in common and this is why I truly love watching you and your family. Not to mention until siblings come along your children help my son feel like he has littles around with him. Thank you for being you and sharing your family's journey. It's brought much spiritual companionship seeing you go through similar life lessons to those from which we also learn. God bless you and your family.

    Thank you for sharing your heart and your faith. It is so refreshing to "meet" someone with such a similar journey. We home church as well and have for the last 8 years, the Lord brought us to this decision in a different way but it truly is a blessing and a beautiful thing to worship the Lord as a family in Spirit and in Truth, without compromise. I'm glad the Lord brought your channel in my life, it has been an encouragement to me and I hope you receive some encouragement as well. You and your husband are being wonderful stewards of the blessings He has allowed. Thank you for your witness and testimony of the Lord Jesus. ❤

    Love your video! On the issue of head covering, I went to a Latin Mass earlier this year. All the women and girls were wearing a mantilla. What a beautiful expression of faith. You shine with the Holy Spirit. Happy trails.

    I just found your blog over the last few days. This was a great video. I am a Catholic (married to a Lutheran!) and often get questions about that, so I totally understand how it feels when people question you! Thank you for being so transparent. I enjoy watching all the recipes and homesteading, though I am definitely not living that same life myself, lol
    It’s very admirable and fun to see the way the Holy Spirit convicts peoples hearts…excited to watch more. 😄

    aww, bless your heart and Gabe's! I cried with you sweet girl and now here I'm crying again while trying to type. Children are so precious to me. I love you and your family so much and feel so close to you as if you were family. I'm praying for healing for Gabe and when he goes to college, he'll have no worries. I loved this vlog! It was like sitting with one of my girls and just listening. You are such a blessing to me. May God bless you and keep you always :)

    I was crying along with you as you shared about Gabe’s allergies. My oldest is also deathly allergic to peanuts. His first reaction happened when he was 6 months old. It’s so painful as a mother to have him be in danger and have to be “different.” It has been a challenge and it’s also the reason we started to homeschool, but we have found great joy in the journey. Thank you for sharing your story

    I had the opportunity to homeschool my children for a couple of years and absolutely loved it as a family. We used the abeka curriculum. Even after our situation changed and our kids had to go back into public school. The foundation that was laid in those early years, made them better students, better citizens, and more responsible as children and later as adults.

    I have followed you for a long time on Instagram and now also on UA-cam. I didn’t know that you didn’t have kitchen skills until later in life. When you said that Adam had to teach you to cook rice that really surprised me…and also inspired me! I didn’t learn any kitchen skills growing up and my fiancée is constantly teaching me basic skills. I think of you as a wonderful cook and provider of nourishment for your family, so like you said… if you can learn to do it hopefully I can learn too! 👏🏻😁 thank you for continuing to share!
