Have a question. I test rode same bike. Did u do anything to fix where the brake pedal and footrest is so close to the engine. My foot touches the motor and feels kinda like a mid controls and seat sits to far up as well
A friend and I were on a road trip around Lake Michigan, we had a stop in Marquette Mi when my bike started having issues. We went to bald eagle Harley and they moved a bike off a lift just to get me back on the road again, the parts and service guys were great to deal with.
Some incredible roads and scenery in Sevier County. Blessed to live out here. Continue to stay positive even if some aren’t.
Thanks for being Transparent, with that situation that you encountered. You handled it with grace. But all the people watching, know now to possibly avoid that service center, and they'll have that individual to thank for that.
the dealers really can help or hurt the consumer just thru a conversation....at least the other guy helped and saved it a bit. Nice insight on the exchange....!!!!
That's crazy that you had a not so pleasant experience at a Harley-Davidson dealer. Customer service is key. Your 2024 bike is nice Tall👍🏿. Can't wait to see the future modifications.

Tall, your handling with the tech was great. I think u should contact the owner cuz he might not know how some of his employees act. Who's to say how many people he's already been rude to or how many will he do it to in the future. BTW good video

Customer service is very important and if there one guy being rude or not very friendly that gives you a perspective of how the of the dealer is, that's why I went 160 miles further to get my street glide and everyone there are super nice and super cool , keep gliding Tall, God Bless
You're a good Man Tall, that so called tech guy at the dealer needs to be fired. I did have a mechanic at a dealer screw work up once but when I showed what he had done to the Manager they made it right with new parts and a refund and fired the guy
Sorry to hear about your customer service issue at the Harley dealership in Pidgeon Forge. There's a dealership less than 5 miles from my home and from 2016 until May of this year I wouldn't purchase so much as a t-shirt there due to the poor attitudes of a few employees. In 2015, I intended to purchase a new Road Glide. Everything was fine until I spoke to the rude/condescending Finance Manager. I left the dealership angry and returned to their business the very next day riding a new Ducati just so the finance manager would know that it was his fault someone else got my money. In 2021, I owned a Street Glide for which I wanted to do a big bore kit and buy some accessories. This time I had the bad luck of getting a rude Parts salesperson who wanted to tell me that the accessories I wanted weren't correct for my bike (before he would even let me give him the part numbers which would have shown that the accessories I wanted were correct) and I literally had words with the Service Manager who claimed the engine build I wanted wasn't "necessary". I ended up getting the accessories at another H-D dealership 41 miles away and a Zippers Muscle engine build from an independent shop in the neighboring city who happened to be a Zippers and Hoban Brothers Darkhorse dealer/distributor. I vowed to never go back to my local dealership. I bought a used 2020 Lowrider S from a private party in January of this year and, in April this year, a neighbor who lives a street over from me had just traded in his older Road Glide for a brand new Road King Special at my local H-D dealership. When I told my neighbor about how I had been treated, my neighbor told me that he knew the individuals that I disliked and that they were no longer employed due to retirements and terminations. I went back to my local H-D dealership and the difference was like night and day. On May 29th this year they bumped the 114ci Stage 2 on my Lowrider S up to a 131ci Stage 4 with a Zippers Redshift 552 cam and Thundermax tuner. Thus far, I've been very pleased with the customer service and the work performed. I hope it stays that way. I'm glad you were able to separate that one individual from the corporate entity and not let it cause you any distaste. You're right to note that those employees are the face of the business and all it takes is one bad interaction to anger a customer who will then tell all of his/her friends and acquaintances about the bad experience. My poor customer service and bad attitude experiences cost my local dealership at least three motorcycle sales and 9 years worth of sales/service revenue. Stay positive, stay blessed, and keep being a bright beacon of goodwill in a dark and unkind world. Ride hard, ride fast, ride safe!

Seen a couple of UA-camrs with that exhaust who have taken them apart and taken the stuffing out which raised the sound but kept the look
From my experience “some “riders are not going to get the best/kind customer service at Harley Davidson dealerships. That’s what worries me the most about taking a cross country trip.

Unfortunately there are people like that but you are always 💯 👍🏾 i was looking at a nice Road Glide limited (2024) black/black but it has the 114?? Why no 117 or is it a carry over from 2023? They had it listed as a 24 though

I hate to say this, but I’ve had almost the same encounter with that dealership. I know exactly which one your talking about! I think they sell more t-shirts than bikes. Just my opinion. Now the other HD off of 407 exit, they seem to be good people!
Yesterday I bought some Sketchers shoes and had to leave the box behind because it wouldn't fit in my saddlebag. A coupla yrs ago I was riding from Ohio to Vegas. Outside of Vegas something came on my dash that I hadn't or noticed before. I rode straight to the nearest Harley dealer. I told them and showed them my problem. They said all their techs were busy and they were short handed. We can try to get you in tomorrow. After almost pleading with the guy and still getting no for an answer I googled Harley Davidson near me. The next closest one was Red Rock Harley. Rode there. Explained my situation and they got me right in. Turns out it was nothing to worry about and I was on my way. Red Rock Harley gets two thumbs up from me. Concerning your pipes you have now. Maybe you can take some of the insulation wrap out. That would make it a little louder. I wish the 2024 glides still had the cigarette plug. Loud pipes may save lives but Jesus saves souls.

I had a crew at White Lightening HD during RTTH4 tell me all their techs were busy but when they found out I was a road tripper heading home the next day the helped me out. Also the team at Signature HD came and picked me & my bike up go me in and out on my way to RTTH3
Lookin good Tall, I'm here in ocala, fl. I traded my 2015 dyna fatbob with a syk pipes dump in for my 2024 road glide alpine green with black. Date of purchase I put on TAB 50 slip ons and took out the 1.75" baffles. Im a firm believer that loud pipes save lives. I’ve been there where I’ve had to rev my engine going through intersections and patking lots. People are not wired to look for motorcycles! I am also looking to do stage 2 but I'm gonna wait to see what else comes out for better gains. Shiny side up bro.

I know how that is with dealership employees. I've expected something similar and it was with a service manager. He wasn't rude but he wasn't very helpful.

I know what you are talking about I had a bad experience at that dealer in Pigeon Forge I’ll never go back luckily I have a dealer right here in Maryville
You can remove the silentsers by removing the rivets by drilling them out and re assembling the bands with new ones. The packing can also be removed. Some one had a UA-cam video showing how.

I totally agree with that customer service thing. Rode to your event and my 2024 Road Glide radio went completely out. Almost a 1k mile ride and no radio. I did look it up when arrived a day early and all was needed was an update. So when I got to Bootlegger's early the next day and ask if they could help me out, it was like I had a horn out my head! Now, your event is huge, I would assume that they would be prepared for the large crowd and ready and assumed that someone would need assistance traveling from all over the US. But No! Gave me some excuse. When I got back to Texas, took it to my home dealer and literally took them 20 -30 mins to download the update and radio works like new! Yes, Have to do better!!!
I had a similar experience there during RTTH4. I ended up at WhiteLightning HD and they got me taken care of so I could make the trip back to Michigan without worry.

Too bad you had an impolite service tech. With your following, I think his boss will have a talk with him. 🤨 I bought my Honda new from a Harley dealer in Rochester, NY seven years ago. He sells and services several makes, and he knew I needed a DCT bike because of my left wrist. They have serviced (granted it doesn't need much 😎) my bike with the same courtesy as the Harley riders.👍🏾 By the way, JMHI but I have never in my 50 years of riding thought loud pipes would do anything but destroy my hearing. I have a good horn, and with my DCT, I can't rev-bomb anyway. 😄 Ride safe,Tall. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Can a tour pack be added with the suspension reservoir on the rear? I was thinking about getting the cvo st but I was unsure about the tour pack being able to be added.

Tall, if you put a rear shifter on, you won't have to concern yourself about a dirt spot on your tennis shoes. Just to be clear, you never ware shorts or tennis shoes while riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle...

I feel like there is entirely too much of that at Harley service. Not all obviously but seems to be more than the fair share. I just don’t understand it, why enter a service industry if you don’t want to treat people kind and with a smile?
Tall I don’t know about you but I’m a business owner of color and as of lately I’ve noticed a little tension in the air, I was at a shop just recently doing some filming, not one person came to me or ask me questions, so I wouldn’t put it pass that person you spoke with to have a kind of chip on there shoulder, really puts a bad taste in your mouth.
He must don't know who you are, and your power he could be looking for a new job if you pushed it.

My dealer is trying their best to fix my 2022 Road Glide Limited, after my engine grenades. Almost six weeks and no parts.
