I have followed this procedure many times, and it both does and doesn't help. For some reason, the NYCT R route, whenever extracting, only shows a black void of darkness. However, the NYCT L, and V lines do work with this procedure.
Hey bro like literally When i just opened openbve and select the route. It just shows this stupid screen said The selected route is corrupt: No objects defined.
Do not install the recent release of Openbve, that has a lot of issues. If you cannot find the 1.4.3 version I provided in the description then I’ll provide the link to you. Let me know. Also, it seems that you probably didn’t download all the object files from the bvestation site. Try doing that, you’re likely essential missing objects. Also, be aware that you have to install “openAL”
I have downloaded the program openBVE and also I have downloaded a few routes and trains and I haven't seen any dependencies even in the file that you have downloaded the 6 train. For somo reasons there are not dependencies ... Why?

What windows are you using? Also do you have Directx installed on your pc? It a plugin needed for Openbve. What can also be a factor is if you have a graphics card or not, if you don’t then that can be the reason you see a black screen, another good possibility is you may not have some plugins installed on your pc. You should also do windows update often, perhaps it can be updates that are missing
Yes i do believe o have direct x and i hav windows 10 my windows updates on its own when i turn on my computer, and ita a gamin computer so i hav a grphics card..my train sim and other games run smoothly and actually i fixed some things and got some of my other routes to play also its just some routes like the 5 and 6 and a couple of others that just dont show up and hav almost unsolvable errors

But if you do send the screenshots, I’m more than willing to help ! And good that you have a gaming PC, so it can only mean you have an issue sorting the files for the 5 & 6.
You have to put the r line route (.csv file) onto the router folder. The announcements go on the sound folder and the objects like “Broadway” go to the object folder

Burned Aura you have to organize the files that you downloaded. It depends on the route you downloaded. There are 3 different types of folders for OPENBVE that are important. Sound, Objects and Route. When you download a route you'll see that there'll be 2 files which are the routes it's in .csv format place that on the route folder. Next is the objects, this one will be obvious since there are about 200+ of them you'll see it. Your problem is the objects folder, you have to place all the files onto that. And ALSO. You need to be specific, which route are you having problems seeing no tracks?
yes the lines go on the route folder, but no you cannot put train files on the object because that'll cause errors. You need to place it on the train folder

What seems to be the issue with the R line in general? You have to use also a specific extracting tool. Use Winrar: www.rarlab.com/download.htm
It sounds like you need to install a lot of objects, visit bvestation and join the OBND group on Facebook for additional files

Why do you still have to install the dependencies even thought the (6) line is only on Lex, not the IND 8th and 6th? Won't it waste space?
For the six line it requires the IND 6th and 8th objects for some reason.
ive done everything right and for some reason all i get is white walls all around or black using latest release not sure if thats the problem

LisaRaye2.zip won't extract
use WinRAR as your extracting tool download it and itll do the job, and also what browser do you use? Use firefox.
