I wish my university did something like this on campus. I have never been able to take the study abroad courses offered by my Anthropology and Archaeology department as they are too expensive. My department requires a fieldwork course for the major and the one I decided to take in the city was a total rip off because thinking we would be learning how to do work on the field, we only learned how to grid and make a map. It's upsetting because I want to be an archaeologist, but by the looks of it I will be graduating with no experience whatsoever on such an essential skill. :/
I metal detect and i found a solid gold harvard academic lapel pin. I imagine its vintage, found at a 1800s homesite, near an 1830 large cent, flat button, and half cent coin, any ideas?
For anyone wanting to know more about this here is the podcast the ladies did on the subject back in June of 2015 www.missedinhistory.com/blogs/missed-in-history-harvard-indian-college.htm It's always a treat to see either one of these ladies, but both is just too much of a thrill. Wonderful work on this video. Thank you so much.

Great follow up video to a fascinatinc podcast. So neat that the students get to do this on campus.
Is that a Star Wars themed sweater I see?
On Holly, the answer to that question is almost always yes.
