@MrAnatamize , you don´t understand. They are built for running on ice but there was no ice at the time it was delivered. You and the guy in a speedboat would look pretty dumb sitting in a speedboat on ice.
@cpnstav there are many many gasoline powered engines on the oceans of the world, the atomic 4 gasoline engine has to be the most common engine ever on sailboats from the 60's and 70's
rocks over 14 inches could be a problem but how is a lake with crocs a problem? Hmm I think you need to study up on hovercraft a bit more before posting.
lake with crocs, its dangerous... why? if u only know how the crocs works in our country then u will agree with me.... Crocs in our country smashes boats, not only they bite the boat but they also whip their tails to boats so people will fall, u'll be safe though if u drive fast....

These are cooler than speedboats. You can use them all year and you're not stuck just to the water.
Speedboats are much faster

@2point0L you would not sink there are watertight compartments that make it float if you come off cushion.

Fuel consumption is much less than a boat of the same capacity/size!
Maintenance is not that much either, a little time to check things out.
