As someone who fell in love with ERRA from the Andromeda days, I realize that no matter the lineup, I’m just so proud to call them my favorite as I witness each of the members of the band progress musically with each new release.
I heard Hard Core say in his reaction that he's "missed this sound". I feel the same way...and I had just listened to Erra 4 hours before this song came out. Nostalgia for real.
Omg we got more JT singing, it's what I always wanted. 🥰 Very good stuff, breakdown was really nice. Has a bit of a diff vibe from the s/t, which is great cuz as much as love that album, I don't want see them rehash it, ya know? Even still, this has me hyped for what's to come, even if it's not til next year lol. Only complaint I have is I wish that riff before the last chorus went into something of its own. Great reaction, Rach. I hope you have a great time checking out the tour!
Erra are unstoppable right now. Every time I think they've peaked, they just keep pushing things. I think they really found themselves on self-titled, but rather than simmering in their comfort zone, they're continuing to push things with the deluxe tracks and now this single. If you compare Drift to now, there's so much growth and progression. They're letting JT take the spotlight more as Jesse picks and chooses his moments, and I love it. JT has been really showcasing his vocal range, and I love that he's getting more melodic sections to really flex those pitched yells. The two vocalists fill each others' shortcomings so well and they've really learned how to utilize the full band to its full potential. Does it sound like Erra? Yes. But every time they add something fresh. The electronic elements, the vocal compliments, the riffs and drumwork. The section at 4:16 made me laugh at how fun it is. It sounds like they're really enjoying the music they're making at the moment and it really comes across. Shoutout to Atrium Audio for an amazing mix as always ofc. Those guys are on fire and they're really elevating the scene with their sound. Great reaction as usual Rach ♥
@@RachelleReacts holy shit thanks for the fast answer! I like so much these types f transition and ofc I like your videos because you make me discover new metal bands everyday. Keep up the great work!!
these guys are obviously good musicians, but i feel like this song didn’t really have anything i haven’t heard before. just seemed like another generic prog metal song, but i will give some other songs a listen. any suggestions?
damn, yeah I would do some more investigating because ERRA is certainly not generic. although I feel like the word generic itself is used pretty generically now, far overused. I would suggest Nigh to Silence, Vanish Canvas, Divisionary, Eye of God. I could keep going but I will stop myself there
If this is generic, give us five more unique prog metal bands that stray further from 'generic', have a good production value, and two great vocalists. It's only fair 🤷
@@nolankuffner3573 lol all im tryna say is that its just another safe and overproduced song that isnt really progressive bc they’re not doing anything new. there’s nothing exciting about it.
@@AlleviateWoW and I'm just saying it sounds like you're crapping on them because they're getting popular and it's cool to hate what's popular 🙃 To my point, you didn't mention any bands that AREN'T generic, probably because 90% of fun bands that do crazy, different stuff sound like they either ride autotune into the ground or couldn't produce a listenable album to save their lives. It's awesome to say something's 'generic and not exciting', but that's just a generic response by someone who is coming across as 'it's not super catchy and completely reinventing the genre'. Cool. Spend YEARS defining your sound, to tour and sell merch and play to as many fans, then decide that, because some fans 'heard a song that sounds predictable' the should dump that. Random question: have you bought an Erra album? If no, you're not the fan they're releasing b-sides for 🤷
Erra is the king of melodic grooves. Can't wait for more.

I love that this band knows exactly who they are. Every track feels distinctly ERRA.
Another track that gifts goosebumps to all that have the pleasure to hear it. Erra never ceases to amaze.
Loved the vocal layering and mix of this one. Super crisp, tasty bassline, and great vocal harmony.
Yeah right eveyone getting it in here that's why it's my favorite
Best track of the year so far.
Amazing reaction as always ❤️🔥. This to me might be one of the best tracks ERRA has ever released imo.

Amazing reaction Rachelle as always. Erra is a phenomenal band. Jt and Jessie's vocals are top tier without a doubt. Beautiful song. 🤘💙😊

Shortcomings? Lol
@@s3anallen Hmm?
ERRA keep getting better and better. If this is any indication of the next record I cannot wait.
I met their former lead as a bartender in Birmingham. He was the bartender. There's a story behind ERRA.
Yes.
Kick ass song way to start my morning!!!
The best metalcore band of this generation.
What subgenre of metal is this? I like so much when they swtich melodic and scream like this
progressive metalcore!

no problem!! Invent Animate and Silvercord are some great bands that you'd probably dig if you haven't checked them out yet!
@@RachelleReacts i'll def do it! Rn i'm on architects, spiritbox, city state and in flames. Sometimes the amity affliction.
City State has a phenomenal vocalist. i really like their sound. some others for your list: Rogue and Behind Blue Eyes! they may be up your alley

Ahhhh yes right in the feelies
NIN early as well as Prodigy have a huge effect on this.
At this point, I feel like ERRA will never release a bad song
I really like how they started and ended the song with the same riffs.

More of the same
Weird that a half wrought comment about originality would come from a person whose username is 'evdboy2'.
Yes it’s ERRA doing what ERRA does best, which is what makes them such a kickass band- lighten up dude
I’m new here, what’s that intro? 🔥
