I really love this Power BI template / design. Myself trying to create the same, but whenever I am inserting shapes and clicking on one shape other shapes getting disappeared. This problem is restricting me from making good background colours / shapes like you. Please help.
Actually when you select rectangular box then format option will get enabled so from there go to send backward then click on small arrow key then select send to back. then your icons won't disappear.

If you're using lower version of PowerBI then download the latest one. Hope it helps..
