Oh, man, oh, man... The last 30 seconds of this one is going to stir up some raw feelings from the last few days between some of the very good competitors you know in the game. Not touching it with a 10-foot pole. Ahem, "manipulated" finishes. 🤣
Great work - love the tutorial. I started hanging out on the hill above the finish pole (more to the north side and the beginning of the guard rail). Found out the hard way that when you sneak challenge someone from up there, the finish pole can be about 20 yards to the north of the normal one. So from the planned diagonal path, I have ended up overshooting the finish to the south and lost more than once. Serves me right, I guess. The first time I met Fishie, I was waiting/lurking around the bend at the north end - using your strategy here - and I was not aware that he had managed somehow to sneak up BEHIND me by staying under 10 mph from wherever he was (perhaps behind the boulders at the switchback). He challenged me and was gone before I figured out what had happened.
Also, I recommend Fastang's "Bulkin Road" video where he got that Russian streamer very, very mad by taking his lunch twice up there (almost twice in a row).
Lol yep, I've just learned about that other spot you speak up up top near the North side. I don't have clips of it though, and wanted this video done. It's extremely rare for me to get the Volcano final arena anymore.

I like to poker on the volcano - lol - or should i say dancing around the finish line....It is difficult with experienced players because they know the pin. And when you beat beginners they think that was a cheater 🙂 Volcano Arena is one of my favourite ones....cu on the mountain 😁

Top moronic arena. Potential for crazy races waisted. Some stand on pin point, boring. FSs can be exciting...
