I am happy our brother made mention of Salaga slave market and I think as a nation we should help educate our returning brothers and sisters from the diaspora if they so wish to make it into the northern parts of the country to also reconnect with the land their ancestors might have come from. Thanks
Wid the last strength in me I will say we will be Great Again 🙏🙏😫 The Prettiest Preacher u own my heart💘💘💞💞 We are the biggest and the largest spiritual platform in the whole wiase
Maame Grace this is the only documentary so far that I have watched that I felt different energy in me that I felt heavy. May the universe bless you to live longer. I hail you Maame Grace
I applaud the guy even though we would have wanted our history's told by us in our own dialects, we appreciate his well conveyed information to we the audience. Thanks to you too Maame Grace and more grease to your elbows 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿. Koby Ireland
Bro., there’s another slavery oo and that’s the Bible they left us. They knew we would come after them when in the future so they left the Bible to suppress Africans again. i feel like Africans Abroad should even make their money, & move
My heart always bleeds anytime I watch and listen to how our ancestors suffered at the hands of this wicked, barbaric Babylonians. . Africa Let's Unite and move forward..
Thanks for bringing us this part of the tour Maame Grace because I have been waiting for this for so long to learning more from our ancestors & what they have been through ✊🏾🙏
I can’t control the tears 😢. This got me very emotional just halfway and had to stop to re-energise myself. That was hard to watch and educational. Will watch again with my kids when I feel stronger emotionally. Thank you so very much Madame Grace - you are the best ❤️❤️
My Lovely Maame Grace P'ls remember our land we are walking on it is a Holy Land that's why God ask Moses to remove his Sandals b'cus the Lte Land he is Standing on is a Holy Land that's why we h've to Respect our Land and everything planted on it
Good work. Great history. To me I am looking at the weakness which the Slave masters saw in our ancestors that made them enslave us. If they have come to meet a people that were intelligent enough to create things like they have done, they would not be able to deceive, still and kill our ancestors. This things should teach us more about the potentials we have and to change our mindset. Up till now slavery is ongoing in a different form. We must know what we have and also concretely drift away from mere living to the point of researching and being part of invention etc. they have gone ahead. It will interest you to know that their descendants are not paying the price of those cruel ancestors. But we still have people preaching that we are suffering because of the sins of our forefathers. The truth is that we have to delve into scientific research and change our scope of life. As Africans and humans like the white race, we can do what they do because all men are equal but until we break the mental Slave lock. May their souls rest in peace. It is about time we forgive ourselves, them and all and move on. It also amazing to know that it was a catholic priest who gave the idea to use Africans for their plantation when other race could not survive the hard conditions there. At the Elmina Castle, I was taught that, the hymn entitled, ‘how sweet the name of Jesus sound…’ was composed by one of the slave masters who became a priest. Isn’t this amazing? Life to me is just like Pilolo. They saw the hidden sticks of knowledge which our ancestors could not see well. The rest was to enslave those who couldn’t find the sticks. Our ancestors were not intelligent than the slave masters then. But are we now intelligent to step up a reform our sub region? Why should the President buy a mere stone at that fee for a Cathedral and how is the cathedral going to build the economy when we already have many cathedrals at every corner of our communities already yet to be packed and factories already converted to churches? The negative energies they left can only be wipe off from our own brains. None but ourselves can free our minds.
This is the most emotional and simultaneously empowering documentary I’ve ever seen. A lot of emphases has been made about Western slavery and not much mentioned about the Arabian/Islamic slave trade which was as diabolical. Africans are not only so welcoming of strangers but we also forgive and we forgive wholeheartedly to our disadvantage and our own demise. Africans never ever look back in anger! Long live Africa, long live Africans and long live Ghana 🙏🏿
I got goosebumps watching this episode. I am from a village close to paga, which was a slave camp. Being that the 3 Northern regions contributed a lot when it came to slaves, no one talks about the history freely because of the sad and bitter history. Both raiders and captives ended up cohabiting after the abolition, and so elders are selective in passing on these shared memories in bid to maintain peace. I asked my questions and got some answers thanks to this video. Thank you.. we are the biggest and largest
Berbadus president returning the bones of our ancesters is so emotional. It took our ancesters too long to return home, may our ancesters bless her. That woman is very brave
We may think the Spirits and Gods of the land didn’t help our brothers and sisters on their journey of pain and suffering but I reality they did if not we will not be here to talk about it. Now is our time to rise to the task ahead and be the crowning glory on the shoulders of our Ancestors 🙏🏾👑👑👑
If we all really understand this story then i say we should all give a thumbs up for nana akuffo addo for once!!!! And do you all remember the speak of the Barbados 🇧🇧 president when she came to Ghana on one of our Independence Day celebrations??🧏🏾🧏🏾🧏🏾
@@Kobbyahmed : The created character that has been used to deceive you and your entire generation never went through what our ancestors went through yet these ancestors are not elougize; but demonized . It's sad 😭😭😭
Upon reaching Assin Praso ,some were buried there so we have the mass grave where the blacks who died were all put in one grave hence the name mass grave and there is an European cemetery where the whites who died at Assin Praso were buried individually with their names written on each grave so Assin Praso also have some history of the slave trade.
Maame Grace dat door can only be changed when our politicians come tot their sense... The biggest problem and threat to Africa's liberation is the politicians and the pastors . Until they r willing to accept.and become sober at the story of Africa... we cant move
