Yeah you can even drive on glass and it gives you more grip than wood
I’m pretty surprised that most of the surfaces were within 20m of each other
Keep in mind that the steeper the slope goes the amount of grip it needs increases exponentially…
Thats because they have the same grip ! It is almost never the surface that determines the traction. Cars in GTA5 have a value called "offroad traction loss" and all the surfaces are just "offroad"

Holy fuck, at 6:55 when concrete is going up, I love when it reaches 93 it goes higher, then when it reaches the next highest limit it goes above that and so on, instead of just jumping from last to first. This detail can be only seen when you're watching in 0.25x speed, and this guy still put it in even though most people wouldn't see it. You earned a sub from this detail. Kudos to you
I'm a bit late, but rain affects grip in general.
It usually lowers grip, but in some cases it increases it.
Driving in wet sand makes your car get glued to the ground.
Finally learned that ice and snow are different...
ice is just frozen water and snow is just a bunch of ice but its more of a powder
Think of it like a massive mountain and fine gravel, made of the same material but one is solid and the other is made of very small parts

I WAS gonna say it was impressive that Rockstar went to the trouble to make different grips for each surface, but in reality, they only made 7... Eh, I mean it's kinda neat there's more than 2 (on road and off road) like alot of games, so I guess it's something....
Its not like the game is set in a tropical island, its mostly city, desert and a small town
