- Bad Beat is a notoriously difficult mission in GTA Online, especially when played solo. Plagued with very accurate enemies and will beam you to back to where you came from in a split second. So what if you were to make it so they have 100% and 10x more health? Well. This is the answer.

Now try doing this with a pistol, and any enemies that die to ANYTHING other than a pistol will instantly fail the challenge. This somehow made it to be a career challenge...

Can't you cheese the pistol challenge by running it with 2 people and the 2nd person kills everyone with the full arsenal while you afk with a pistol?

Don't put this on r/gtaonline or else they will say "it's your fault" and that "you should be well aware of their rapid fire and accuracy".
And then some dude complains about the MK2 for the one thousand time, and people agree with them even tho the MK2 is complete dog shit today lol
I love when I'm doing the easiest mission ever and out of nowhere an NPC shoots the entire magazine on me and I stand no chance 😌

Definitely the worst out of all the career progress to do solo I'd rather grind arena war 100 times over
This and Strong Arm Tactics are two of the hardest missions I’ve done solo to do the Tier 4 objectives.
yeah the Strong Arm Tactics where Ms. BAker called you in the middle of the battle. that was ridiculous.
@@RevieValencia Not only that but using pistols while surviving against 50+ dudes and 4 helicopters on Hard was just evil.

It makes sense that the minigun was disabled. The correct way to solo this mission on Hard difficulty is w/ the minigun and proximity mines at the deck area for flankers.
Actually the entire mission should be played with the minigun and cornering with it since you're constantly going for enemies at the left side.
This took hours when I was doing it solo now I don’t touch Casino missions I either do Cayo or Casino heist while my businesses stock up
You only need to do Casino story missions once just for the first time completion bonus and for the camera intel prep work from Vincent for the Diamond Casino Heist anyways. Ain't like people were gonna repeat them anyways since their just more cinematic contact missions

2:09 There's a technique to this mission; you're just being smart about it and trying to conserve your health. If you use incendiary rounds and move up every time nobody's in the main area, it'll stop them from spawning in so much.
I swear you tank bullets better in story mode while online it’s like your made of wet paper

I usually try and not blow up the stationary buzzard on the roof so I can use it against the enemies.

Pistols only isn't difficult. A lot of it is just in ya head... seriously.

Fun of R* NPC fights, getting blindsided everywhere and they can see you clearly through bushes

It's really, really impressive that you made it through this shitshow of hell and chaos! Well done!!! With noob weapons, noob levels of player health, basic body armor and a few snacks, this would absolutely be IMPOSSIBLE
If you aren't host, you gotta watch out for the 'stacked damage glitch' that was introduced with "The Doomsday Scenario" heist. Enemies can sometimes hit you with a pistol or far-away shotgun and due to the lag, it'll drain all your health and heavy armor almost instantly. It's an even faster death when the NPCs use rifles or Combat MGs
It's leaked into everything... especially casino related stuff... definitely lag related but sometimes it's just ridiculous...
And fucken infuriating.
The game's fucked though... it always has been, and nothing's gonna change...

This is my favourite contact mission since it’s difficulty
This was the only Casino story mission that I didn't get all the Career Progress stuff in one run solo. I had to get someone else who had already done all the challenges to do all the hard work while I stay in cover slowly moving up to keep my health above the 50% mark.
The thing that annoys me the most about these NPC's is how accurate they are blindfiring with one hand from cover. Even if youre hitting them back it doesnt really do much whilst they can easily drain half your health in a few seconds of blind fire
Equipped thermal vision on your MK 2 Sniper rifle. Works the best
My strategy on Bad Beat is always to run immediately backwards through the little kitchen and out that door. Then I turn on a thermal helmet on the back side of the wall where the only enemies that can get to you are the helicopters, and very very slowly start dealing with all the enemies right from behind a wall. IMO it works better than defending closer to the start area and the thermal is crazy OP here..

I thought the casino mission Strong Arm Tactics was ridiculously difficult. Bad Beat makes that look like a walk in the park.
I used Thermal Vision in this Mission and went to a totally different Spot at the Beginning way behind the Bar down the Stairs and go around them.
How did you change the mission settings
And here I thought Veteran Difficulty in Call of Duty: World At War was horrific. At least the German/Japanese soldiers didn’t tank over 3 full mags. 😂
I tried this custom version as well and I gotta say, while it was a tad bit more difficult due to lack of minigun and enemies being more accurate, it wasn’t as more difficult as I thought it would be. Only thing I had to watch out for was enemies behind the couches (and for this I went down the stairs behind the bar and peak and cover killed the enemies with a headshot.
Also, for the juggernaut boy, I used explosive shotgun ammo and he went down after 5 bullets (for those interested).
As a Career Challenge mission, this is absolute pain. This and maybe Play to Win. Strong Arm Tactics is easy if you park the Kuruma close before starting the mission.
I did these career challenges for my friend...he just sat in a corner holding a pistol while i did the mission 😂

Duggan mission at Madrazo’s is super difficult too. No matter if it’s easy or hard, solo or team
What pisses me off the most is that they give you the option to do it "stealthly" and if you manage to do so it doesn't make a damn noticeable difference in the mission. The Uncle still gets escorted to the helicopter as if the alarms went off and you still gotta shoot it down.
If I manage to pull off stealth I should be rewarded with my efforts. I should be able to kill the Uncle right then and there. Payday 2 did this perfectly with the Hoxton's Revenge heist where if you go loud before opening the safe room the informant you have to kill has armor and a lmg, making him harder to kill. But if you do it in stealth, he has no armor and you can take him out right then and there
Good lord can you imagine if Trevor had to fight an big army of Merryweather before kidnapping Devin? Thank god is only 8 of them.

Bathrooms are the best place to hide at the beginning of this mission.
I contracted ptsd just from watching this.
"barely peeking the corner" = standing out in the open. This is why people think it's all too hard. I swear, people are idiots.

I remember doing this on hard mode with my mate when our current characters were low levels. It was an absolute war of a mission, but we managed it after a couple of tries. Thank god for explosive rounds. Wouldn't even think of trying to fight my way through that hell alone with just a sidearm. That's how you give yourself a coronary.

This mission isn't difficult, most gtao players have the patience of a meth addicted squirrel. The patience is the difficulty for them
Stay behind the bar and you won't get hit as much.
Wish custom missions were available on console. Obviously this one is edited but kind of the same concept

I learned that if you shoot an hostile NPC in the body even once, and he fall over, for some reason he is immune to headshots now. So if u miss the headshot by 1mm, the NPC will only take bodyshot damage until he dies lol
