i bought this helmet just before my trip to Switzerland last week. i was looking for a higher protection and better fit than my actual trail open face helmet offers when it gets rough but still having the light comfortable feeling and better ventilation than my full face helmet. based on release marketing of the IXS trigger X and the review of @freerideflo here on UA-cam I bought the trigger X and used it every day last week in the steepest and gnarliest terrain Lenzerheide and Laax could offer. I am super happy with my decision, the trigger X has the best fit ever a helmet provided to me. I in fact had a crash and the trigger X saved my face. the other open face helmet for sure would have failed to get onto the bike again without face injuries. Thanks IXS.
