@@dijon3240 man i agree Slash butchers the solo. I have no clue why he absolutely refused to play it anywhere close to how it was written and recorded not even structurally. After he played it in a way way way out there different key i mean he had people scratching their heads wondering what he was playing the correct song for a few shows GNR dropped the song from the set list permanently.
I don't understand why people criticize if what the person said is that axl loves listening to Slash play, which may be true, none of you know if he hates or loves that solo that slash did, so do yourself a favor and enjoy, don't spread hate...
I love this song, Axl sings this with with so much emotion. I like the way he sings it more here, as it's more lyrical, not so much screaming, in earlier video's. And Slash's guitar solo is beautiful. I love Chinese Democracy, its a beautiful album, and very underrated 🥰😍🤩😘💋❤️🔥🤟😏💯❤️

Many say that he has lost his voice but this was actually amazing and very emotional, maybe helped that he was sitting. I loved Slash solo too. This an incredible song

Sounds like slash redid the solo a bit.
he changes up pretty much every time he plays it live, like the godfather solo. The audio quality isn't great on this video, but that was one of his best versions of this solo. A youtuber niko slash did a cover of this solo and I would highly recommend checking it out.

He just improvised. IMHO, he doesn't know how to play the studio version. So he just do it his way. Sometimes the improvision sounds good, sometimes not so. IMHO this is the best version I have ever heard.
The original studio version sounds good too but it's GnR-ish. If you showed it to a GnR fan who never heard anything after Slash quit, he would be able to tell right away this is not Slash's style. It sounds a bit like Scorpion.
I don't like it. It disturbs the flow of the song.. IMHO
