Yesterday’s cooler, moist weather helped limit the fire’s spread, with humidity levels ranging from 40-96% and temperatures in the mid-40s to 50s, along with some light rainfall.
Today, an area of low pressure will move over Idaho. Winds will begin from the south, rotating counterclockwise throughout the day, ending in the northwest.
Winds are expected to be light, with rain likely later today into the night, with rainfall amounts ranging from 0.01 to 0.20 inches.
I anticipate minimal fire growth today, similar to yesterday.
Looking ahead to Monday, the wind shift to the northwest raises concerns for @stanley_id and the surrounding communities.
