Hi Friends - Thanks for keeping us honest on the poor sound quality of our last upload, and sorry you had to hear that! Unlike that last upload, we heard you LOUD AND CLEAR ;) and we found a version with HQ audio - newly uploaded here. Enjoy :)
😄
Thanks Rhino it’s great to hear this again!
Aw much better
👍🏽.
Best music
Whos still listening to this gem in '24?
Great song .I play this for my fiance
🙋
Me of course love these guys, they're fabulous 👌 👏. Love how they don't care if their hair flying all over as they sing and play 😅😅 cool😊❤
Brian Taylor!!!
ME!
While they didn't enjoy much commercial success outside of this song they should be proud. There are very few songs that stand the test of time but the lyrics, vocals, and music could not be any more perfect!
I was in High School back when this came out (Class of 1985). We had the record.
Me and all my friends loved this one single.
My neighborhood were I went to school and grew up was next to the tracks and next to Watts, California. Which is pretty much close to South Central Los Angeles.
Bad area back then. Bad area now.
But we loved our Georgia Satellites.
Just teenage kids trying to get laid and have fun.
His voice is absolutely perfect for this excellent and fun song!
Yes it is with a friend

Right on!!!
Oh yeah for sure-love it so cool 😎 👍
Yup I agree-love ❤it 👍 🎸 🎸 🎸 🥁 🎸 💃 💃 😂😂👍
Yup its fantastic; sound, music, song and video 😅❤👍 👌
Yes yes yes
My dad and me and my siblings used to sing this at the top of our lungs riding down a dirt road in his pickup on the way home. We were barefoot, fearless and phone- less and happy as pigs in mud. Those were the days..
No you didn’t.
@@notimeforjokes.3570 Does the pope shit in the woods?? does a bear wear a funny hat??
@@hucktrucks1161 no you didn’t. Faker
Great family memories.hold on to those fun great times as tight as you can for always.they will serve you well when you get older.peace.
Yass all that is facts my friend. Love this song best childhood memories are made✨💚🌎 may we all stay child like at heart, but not childish 😂 staying forever playful, dancing, singing and being joyful
STILL one of the best songs EVER!!!! This was the year my oldest son was born & I was a babe of 23. I remember singing at the top of my lungs. Heck, at 60, I still do!!! LOL If I live to be 100 it will always be in my top 5 favs!
Rock on till we all kick the bucket ..peace
3 songs from the 80s are awesome and underrated, survivor eye 👁️ of the tiger 🐅 autograph turn up the radio this song kicks ass. But I also include everything from Boston too!
Old rockers never age
One my favorites also-they're fantastic-don't care if their hair flying all over, while singing and playing their instruments riding in truck lol 😆 love ❤️ that 👍 👌
@@sis779 exactly - health and safety would probably veto it now, or have it done with special computerized effects! Real is better.
Hell yes we here in 2024!!!
HELL YEAH 😊❤ 👍 👌
One of the most underrated, if not the most underrated rock song of all time, no bs. Absolutely great!!!!!! 🤘🏻🥁🎸🎤
Glad to still be here .
Such a great song, and such an underappreciated band. They were ahead of their time in the 80s -- too rock and roll for Nashville, too country for the LA hair band scene.
I can’t find the “11” on the volume dial. If ever there was a song that deserves it……
It’d be this one
If you need an 11, there's a Spinal Tap for that
It's funny how popular fashion has changed but a T-shirt and jeans has been the go to for decades
I am 68 still listening
After maturing and LISTENING to music from then, they were really just jamming 🔥
One of the greatest one hit wonders of 80s
Still sounds as great today.
2 hits. Battleship Chains which I actually prefer.
@@aspe7187 Not to forget the cover of "Hippy Hippy Shake".
@@aspe7187Battleship Chains is a great song. Love it!
They had lots of great songs.
Hell yeah DaveC in the uk Here for 2024 courtesy of my guitar teacher RobA 😊
finally, finally, this classic from the 80s officially on youtube, available for the new generations, with decent image and sounds, thank you very much rhino, a perfect example of what true rock n roll should be, which just didn't reach the top of the chart of billboard singles because of bon jovi's corporate hard rock and his perfect pop of "living on a prayer", patience, new generations please enjoy
I hear you.
I love BON JOVI, their reach across time has been proven, over the years.
All of their music & videos remain current, fresh and in the moment.
For instance....

Oh yeah, here in '24. Caught up with this song late, off an old cd of Sweet Home Alabama. Great to hear guitar playing as good as The Calling version. Lit me up and now I'm on a journey into country rock!
this needs more than 11 million views!!
For us real southern folk, this song is fair to midland.🤠🏴👍👍👍
To the one who have gone on before. He'll yeah they are still listening. Just like us HELL TO THE YEAH
Yeeeeeeeeees! Still holds all the Way! Havent thought about them for 30 years. Watching The Castellows yesterday brought me back to Georgia Satellites, Rush, The Cars, George Duke, ZZ, pasning The Dead South on the way back then - wonderful trip
I don't know whether to smile at him or kick a field goal... it's good !!!
My son gave me a set of good headphone..now I can hear this properly ..turned up for my 80 yr old ears.
Were they SkullCandy or Bose? Besides the point he was a good son to give you a means to listen to righteous rockin' tunes.
I love my Apple rechargeable ear buds
Love it 😅
@@christophersmith9237...chris I like most all kinds of musicfrom Wagner (Valkeriestuff) to enter the sandman (that drum kicks in) But it makes all the difference to hear the subleties.
Yeahh Buck Owens too..hahnn-grys
for your love(and I'm waitin in yer welfare line) whee. Meds could be kickin in.
Take care.
This song rocks,I grew up in the 70s musics who remembers woodstock
This song still rocks after all theses years
1986 I was young 2022 now I'm just an old 69 year old pothead
great great classic soNg loVE IT
I’m 37 but you’re still young my dude. Burn one and listen to these classic tunes for life. My family gets so sick of me always listening to music from 60s - 90s but it just doesn’t get better
Love it, makes me want to dance!!!!!
Love it! Wow, what a blast from the past. This song reminds me that it's been a while since I saw the movie "Sweet Home Alabama." This tune with that movie will always put you in a good mood.
GAWD, greatness that movie. Storyline and SONGS ARE TIMELESS
Still jamming in 2024 ❤😎👍
I can see these young singers flying down the road in the back of a truck.🤏😆 They made us solid back then 😆 💯
A go to for cranckin' it up in the'80's, MAN.
Georgia Satellites you guys are awesome.
Gonna play this at a party next weekend.
I love how his voice breaks cause it's just some legit music and singing. song gets 1 thousand stars
That’s vocal control, it isn’t an accident. What he’s doing is the same mechanism as yodelling. It’s incredibly hard to do, it requires years of practice and strong vocal chords to be able to control that sound.
@@TripleXMango yeah Jack White is really good at it as well. Kurt Cobain was too. They’re all trained in making their voice not sound perfect.
What about the mullet 😏😏
No hugE no KissE! Just like my daughter says when I ask for hugs hahaah!
Falsetto
Love this song!!
This tune resonates with me to this day; giving true meaning to a "shot gun wedding" rock on you all>
I remember this like it was yesterday. Not much of anything else but this, absolutely!
Solid rock n roll that stands solid to the test of time
Really solid guitar, the solo is impressive….
Ace.
I'm listening now ❤
This entire album is underrated as hell. It’s traditional Southern Rock but with an edge that really set the tone for a lot of early to mid 90’s “new country” acts to follow. Found it in a vinyl pile for $1 last weekend, turned it up and rocked out.
My friends and I won tix to their concert, they were opening for Jason and the Scorchers. I slow danced with the lead singer of Georgia Satellites...he was singing in my ear...and rude little snot I was...said "you're flat". 😂
Reminds me of old MTV when it was good😃Not like the CRAP MTV does now😩Great tune and video👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Full agreement. Right there.
Song was even played on jukeboxes in Ventura, CA (by me, 1988).
Solo guitarist is a straight savage
Love our 60s &70s Music the best and worst time of our lives. Boys were Boys and Girls were Real Girls . Jesus Movement was in full swing.
This was 80s music tho -- 1986
Still listening 2024
I wanna see you guys sings this live !!!🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
Love the old deuce and a half!
Instantly my favorite song once i had heard it. About the same time when an ex GF and I had just broken up because she was in a hurry to get hitched and I wasn't...hell, i could barely afford to take care of myself back then. This song STILL one of my all time favorites..I love it!!!!
The official anthem of every man who's ever been blueballed.
Testify brother! 😢
Preach
Thats... not really what this song is about. It's about the guy seeing his woman as being honest but he just wants it more than she really wants him.
Well, it’s obvious by the video that she’s pregnant, unless it was immaculate conception. He’s getting some loving too.
U guys are the greatest! This is most upbeat song in history.... Dance on people!
Nevee heard of this group but love this song there great
Thanks
You

still breathing and listening 👆🏽🇺🇸🙏🏽
Yep
Good rock 😊
I was at a cookout, it was one of my husbands co-workers,and some of the other friends of the host brought instruments, and jammed song after song, rock, country, bluegrass, long into the evening. Before cellphones and internet, just friends hanging out, eating, dancing, singing and having a great time just being together! This song reminds me of those times!
Great song and group !
Just love the original video to this song .
Thank you for uploading this and GREAT quality as well!
Me!! Love this oldie❤❤❤
Love this song! 🎵 ❤ 💕
An eminently singable song, one I'll still pick at karaoke bars if it's there. Gotta holler if you want that dollar.
love this
I'd like to have a woman like what this song is about. What a precious treasure. 💖
Love this video. It reminds me of the old joke about the woman that walks into a bridal shop in Chicago and wants a maternity wedding dress? The sales lady, aghast, says "we don't have any of those". The woman says - "well you best catch up - we have plenty of these in Tennessee" :-) Like I said, it's an old joke.
Love this song
старый добротный рок-н-ролл!!!
Jamming out right now just sent it to my feince
Back when people rode freely in the back of truck beds...a simpler time 🤘
🎉2024 still rocking
Love it....
Was in three cover bands as a vocalist and every band had this song as a go to! 😊
💃💃💃😎 keep those hands tucked in deep
Papaw played this and copperhead road every Friday when we’d go spend the weekend at the lake!
80s rule. SO much better than the 90s. F%%% Rap and Grunge!!
Oof
The video is perfect for this classic.
I always said if you were in a cover band, this song must be in the set list, along with Cocaine, and Mustang Sally. Those 3 songs will get em up out of their wheelchairs to dance.
Thanks RHINO FANTASTIC 😊❤❤ 👍 👌 💃 💃 💃 ❤
This is for the whole ladies in the entire world if you don't respect yourself nobody want to do it for
Simple: I just love this Song Dammit !!!!!!
Um som maravilhoso !! 👍
that has to be the most acoustical sound dump truck I ever seen or drove...and I drove a few
Love ❤️ it awesome song and video 👍
Love the older woman covering her ears.
Loved the older woman running after the chicken, so hilarious 😂 😃
This is the anthem of my 'salad days' at Virginia Tech in the 80s. When bands played this song the whole building would vibrate and wood floors would bounce and the entire Main Street would hear the chorus, "Don't hand me no lines and keep yo hands to yoself!"
I'm smiling and shaking my finger at my imaginary bad boy (i'm 70, and married 30 years).
🤸hi, fabulously liked , you cheered my day up,the song has pumped some motorvation in me thanks guys,🏄🎶
Cool... how about PINK, FIRE? MOTIVATING, UPLIFTING, MAKES YOU HAVE A LAUGH???!!!
Who remembers the old school Stone Mountain laser show? Miss those days. Haven't seen it recently.
I saw these guys open for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers….good memories 😊
Me too I saw the same concert tour the Caravan and rock and roll it was with Tom Petty The Georgia Satellites in the Del fuegos period that was the showing LA when his house got burned down two days before and Tom Petty was pissed and he offered a $50,000 reward on stage for any information. But got him mad was his long time nanny was seriously burned and his kids were terrified that's what got him mad
How cool! I saw the Psychedelic Furs open for Petty in ‘79 on “Damn the Torpedoes” tour, what a fantastic show!
@@KittyGrizGriz Love the Psychedelic Furs! (still do), my concert was a little later in the 80's
Pair of dan Armstrong's lucite guitar and bass, dope!!!!!
Lyrics:
I got a little change in my pocket going jing-a-ling-a-ling
Wanna call you on the telephone, baby, I give you a ring
But each time we talk, I get the same old thing
Always, "No huggee, no kissee until I get a wedding ring"
My honey, my baby
Don't put my love upon no shelf
She said
"Don't hand me no lines and keep your hands to yourself"
Ooh, baby, baby, baby
Why you gonna treat me this way?
You know I'm still your loverboy
I still feel the same way
That's when she told me a story 'bout free milk and a cow
And said
"No huggee, no kissee until I get a wedding vow"
My honey, my baby
Don't put my love upon no shelf
She said
"Don't hand me no lines and keep your hands to yourself"
You see, I wanted her real bad and I was about to give in
That's when she started talking about true love
Started talking about sin
I said
"Honey, I'll live with you for the rest of my life"
She said
"No huggee, no kissee until you make me a wife"
My honey, my baby
Don't put my love upon no shelf
She said
"Don't hand me no lines and keep your hands to yourself"
Great job!
When country was still country, love this era of music
This should be the backup American National Anthem
Wow, just wow, love it. Thanks to Everyone involved in making a producing this great song .
STILL coos asF after all these years!
thanks to my dad for introducing me to this song - whenever teenagers by mcr comes on this song has to play next because of how much he says it sounds like this!
You know what?? You sound too good to be true😊❤
People need to learn to keep their hands to themselves, great song.
🤘🎸🤘
Nice song I love it 💞😮😢🎉😊😊
love all the good ole country boys that capured southern rock!
How are you? So sorry for the infringe on your privacy. Beautiful song
I remember seeing this west Cobb hardware truck in Marietta GA with these people on back and a camera crew. I was thinking must be a county music video shoot. I was close.
