Personally, I use the plates to weigh down the plate loaded trainers/racks I’ve owned.
That being said- if you lift super heavy a lot and your space will allow it, bolting down the trainer may be a good idea.
I don’t really lift heavy and there’s always plates left on the trainer to keep it stabilized.
Hi Stevie, i need an All In One Trainer for my pt studio and i have a budget for FORCE USA G3 or F50 .... I have only a big doubt : Smith machine hip thrusts... in the F50 the guided barbell starts very low so i am pretty sure that i won't have any problem but is a little too big... What about g3? what's the minimum height you can set the barbell on smith machine? Thank you very much for your help!
I’m not exactly sure of the lowest point on either all in one to do hip thrusts.
However, I have performed hip thrusts on the G3 as well as the G15 and they do not have full range like a barbell on the floor. The range is good, but never as much as from the floor.
I’m also not sure on the F50 since it’s been discontinued.
Sorry I couldn’t be more of a help with that question. Force USA support can test this since they have the G3 in their showroom.

Many many thanks! I have talked with Force usa support and they confirmed me that the lowest setup is 40cm… very short rom for an average 160cm girl 😢.
F50 is lower and still available in Italy! I will consider that model.

Does this still ship with the ez curl bar? That was one of the most important attachments for my training.
It appears that only the straight bar is included.

Has anyone here used both the G3 and an Ironmaster IM2000?
Im seriously liking the IM2000 but the G3 looks viable.

@@StevieRichardsFitness the foot print, the 1:1 pully system, and the smoothness of the Smith bar (and 1000lb weight rating are all very attractive to me.

If I had to choose, I’d definitely go with the updated G3. It’s an excellent value and the updates have made it even better.
I’ve even considered this model because it’s much easier to assemble than the ones with the weight stacks.
