  • I attempted to do a " build your own compost " or " make your own compost " bin so that I could recycle my household garbage and trash the environmentally friendly way. This project is all about helping the environment and greenhouse gases to me but you can also save or make side income or some money. Using items found in the trash while garbage picking I made a compost recycling receptacle or bin to combine my common waste. Additionally, other benefits could include: Save money on potting soil and other gardening materials as well as fishing worms or even make money selling compost as a business or to neighbors!!! Give compost to neighbors, family or a community garden.
Barrel, spinning, rotating, tumbler compost bins seem to be the best approach to making your own compost. There are lots of types of compost bins and composting methods. However, being on a budget and a pennypencher with little room I decided to try to make a DIY compost bin myself and will be composting with this containment box style composting bin and self turning the compost.
All metal such as copper, brass, iron, steel and aluminum will be repurposed and recycled and processed after selling it to a scrap metal scrap yard or metal processor.
I'd greatly appreciate all feedback, likes, shares, comments and SUBSCRIBERS on my channel.
Garbage picking is how I recover the majority of my inventory for scrapping, scrap metal, re-selling, rummage sale items, etc. When you depend on salvaging items from the trash it's a bit of a gamble. Sometimes you find an item or two, sometimes you'll find multiple items but most of the time you just find trash. lol
I save items from the trash and dumpsters to make extra income with scrap metal and resell items. I find old computers, copper pipes and wire, brass, aluminum, steel, gold, silver and escrap as well as items that can be sold for free cash money.
I'm a single Dad that scraps with his children for extra money to help fund trips, vacations and other family needs. We find scrapping educational, good for the environment and a way to spend quality time together. We enjoy finding free, broken, trash or unusable items and turning them into free additional family cash money. We enjoy watching and networking with other scrap metal and salvage folks through social media including watching Mike the Scrapper, Taco Stacks, and Moose Scrapper videos that inspire and teach us.
I am by no means an expert on composting, gardening, landscaping, recycling, waste management, manure, how to compost in an at home small apartment for garden. So all advice and feedback on the process is appreciated.
Thanks you for watching. Happy Scrapping. Please Subscribe to my channel, watch my playlists.
