Well the Red Sea attacks by the Houthis in Yemen, I read, were at ships linked to Israel as a protest against Israels attack into Gaza. But other reports say that this is just another excuse for the Houthis to cause disruption. Either way, if Israel ceased their Hamas focused operations, the Houthis would then have to honour their agreement and stop the attacks. As for the US. They have their fingers in a lot of 'pies', as a way of puffing themselves up and showing the world how powerful they are. But just like Vietnam, the president lies to the people in order to get votes, yet the elections of November currently look like they are going to become invalidated, because one nominee is mentally incapable and the other is about to be charged and won't be eligible to run for office. And the USA is financially strapped and were in the process of shutting down some of those military bases. We do have a US satellite station in New Zealand and Christchurch has a support group for US planes to fly to Antarctica.
