The Magnetic Allure of Kanga Camp, Mana Pools National Park - African Bush Camps

Before Kanga Camp existed, this remote region of Mana Pools National Park was over-poached and seemingly forgotten. We built Kanga Camp as a sign of hope and reprieve in this wild stretch of African Bush. Our goal was to put boots on the ground and create a permanent water source for wildlife-the only one in a 20km radius-and support antipoaching initiatives in the region. Today, there's water year-round for wildlife and a fully equipped antipoaching operation base that supplies local families with meat and prevents the hunting of animals within the park. ​
